Tris
"So... who'll go first?" Abi asked.
Maybe I can go. I thought.
"I will." I said. They all looked at me.
"What? But... it's dangerous." Zach said.
"I have to. Don't worry I'll be back before sun down." I assured them.
"Here... use this." Faith said as she's handing me a hood. "Just cover your head and body, that's what hood are for. Hide your tail and your ears flat in your head okay." She said while I received the hood. Then Misty hugged me.
"Be careful out there." She said. Then she ended the hug.
"Thanks."
"Good luck." Zach said. And I smiled while wearing the hood then went to the city.
In the city their is a huge building, horses and other things. While I was busy admiring the view I didn't notice that I bumped into someone which cause me to fall down in my tail.
"Ouch!" I said.
"Oh, my bad." A boy said while helping me get up. "I'm sorry." He apologized. Then he looked at me. "H-hi I'm Arnulfo... and you are?" He said while extending his arm asking for a handshake.
"I'm Cristy but I prefer Tris." I said as I shook his hand.
"Where do you live?" He asked.
"Over there... deep in the forest. I'm just exploring the city, and I thought I could find foods for us to eat." I answered.
"Well I can give you some bread and other foods, but it's back in the house. I could take you there." He said.
"Wow... you... must... be rich!" I exclaimed and he nodded.
"Come... let's ride my horse." He said. Horse? What's that? I followed him then saw the 'horse' he's talking about. Then we ride it together to his house still not taking my hood off. "Wait here." He said as I was alone with the horse.
"You're so beautiful." I heard someone say. It was the horse.
"Uhh... thanks?" I said.
"You can understand me?!" It asked and I nodded. "But people doesn't understand us, unless..." it said. "Your an animal too!" It added.
"Yes... a cat. That is talking to a horse." I said matter-of-factly voice.
"I'm Bann..." he said.
"I'm Tris." I replied.
"Tris! Come on." I heard Arnulfo shouted. So I went inside. Inside of the house, it was so big. "I think you should get your hood off." He said reaching for it but I stepped back. He might saw my cat ears.
"No. I would like to keep it this way." I said.
"Okay. Wait here." He walked away then came back with a 'basket' in his hand.
"Here's a basket there is food in there... I hope we can meet again sometimes." He said while giving me the basket.
"What day is it?" I asked.
"Monday, why?" Hmm... monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. Then monday again. "Hello." I forgot that Arnulfo is still talking.
"Oh, hehe sorry. What was that?" I apologizes and asked.
"I said, when will I see you again?" He asked.
"Maybe every monday, same time. In the same place, what time was it when you bump into me?" I asked again.
"1:00 p.m. you don't have a watch but you know how to watch time." He said and I nodded. Rodger taught me how to tell time. "I'll give you this watch wear it... don't worry you can get that wet."
"Thanks.... monday, same place... 1:00 p.m." I said. "Thanks again, I have to go. See you Arnulfo." I said then went back to the treehouse.
"Tris! You're okay." Faith exclaimed.
"Here..." I handed her the basket.
"Mmm... smells nice. Come on everyone let's eat." Faith said then we all ate our food.
"What's that... is that a watch?" Abi asked and I nodded. "Who gave it to you?"
"Arnulfo, he's the one who gave this food and this watch. I bumped at him and sat on my tail and that hurts." I said. And they laugh.
"So what's his reaction when he knew that you're half human and half cat?" Nash asked.
"He... he doesn't" I answered.
"Well you better tell him."
"I will, next monday." I said.
"Look I made 6 hood you already have yours Tris, and it's brown." Faith said.
"But Zach and me has to have a brown hood." Nash whined.
"Oh. Right, Tris give your hood to Zach. Here's your hood it's color green, with gold outline on it." She said while I gave Zach the brown hood while Faith gives me the green one. "Then i'll have the yellow one, then Misty will have the white, Nash here's yours brown, Hal yours is dark brown and angel yours is blue... the color is based on our hair." She said while giving out the hoods.
"Tomorrow is my turn." Misty said. Then we all went to sleep.
