it had been a long time after the first hunter exam. but it was all worth it because ascar had become a hunter!! not only that, her relationship w Hisoka had grown stronger. but at that, she had also made friends w the weird group of 4. although they did not like Hisoka, they were fond of ascar and they thought that they could show her how bad of a person he rlly is. she didn't care tho, Hisoka still had a place in her heart no matter what. 

the group of 4 were talking abt what to do next, the topic of the green haired boy, gon's, dad had come up. he had been looking for him, and that was the whole reason he had become a hunter. they were going to yorknew city to look for him because of an auction for a game, greed island. ascar seemed interested, they were all friends so she offered to join them in the search of gon's dad. gon thanked her and they were on their way to the plane. before they left, she told Hisoka their plans to go to yorknew city, he looked shocked bc that's where he was headed since he had gotten money from the heaven's arena. 

ascar was happy since she might bump into him in yorknew, and then they were off. once they arrived, they began searching for clues of the man named ging. but after a while, ascar grew tired of searching for a man who didn't want to b found. I mean like, he left his kid to explore the world right? he doesn't want to b found so leave him alone. she left their hotel for a walk out during the night. then on her walk, she saw a tall figure in the corner of her eye. she didn't like being followed so she immediately called out to it. it came out of the shadows and it was.. Hisoka! she jumped onto him for a hug  and he asked what she was doing out there so late in the night. she explained how tired she was of doing "good work" for someone else and how she was wasting her time, she wanted to have fun w her life. 

Hisoka grew a smirk on his face. she asked why that look, he then said, "how would u like to join the phantom troupe?", confused but intrigued, ascar asked what it was. Hisoka said, "the phantom troupe is a group of bandits who steal what they want whenever they want and don't follow the laws. our leader, chrollo, will definitely allow u to join w ur power. well, will u join us?" she was ecstatic by what he said, just as abt she was going to answer, she received a call from kurapika. she answered, he asked, "ascar where have u been?!! its so late and everyones worried sick!" ascar looked up at Hisoka and then she said, "sorry kurapika, but I won't be coming back, ever." and then she hung up
