Who are you when no one is watching ?

1: the meeting

" Finally "
It's the only thing I've said when I was in my way , sitting in the back sits admiring the city and the shadow of the people all the largest buildings that New York famous about it .

I still don't get why I did choose to moved all the way from London to here but I'm already in the Uber to NYC university , even the major that I did apply to study was random .

I was wondering around the Campus trying to find my dorm room with all my large suitcases , finally I was in the right floor I just need to get to my bed I was really exhausted. 

" Excuse me , I'm really sorry "
I said when I Collided with this girl in the hall

" No, don't worry it's fine " she replied nicely and offered " do you need some help ? I can guide you to your room "

" yes please I'm actually new here " I said " I'm in dorm 173 "

" So you're my roommate actually it's also my dorm , my name is aleena nice to meet you " she said while smiling at me .

" I'm Vasilisa but you can call me Lisa i glad to meet you too "

And this how I meet my only friend here a week ago , I started to know a little about. Aleena was born in Montreal Canada from both Palestinians parents , she is a medicine major, and we're both 21 years old .

I really enjoyed her company this whole week  so for the weekend she invited me to dinner with her friends.

We went to this pretty Aesthetic restaurant that was not far the first thing I saw is there is two people already waiting for us .

" Look who is early today " said Aleena while hugging the girl in the right of the table behind the window and turned to me,

" This is nerezza and Amon my favorite twins " she tells me with her finger pointing at them .

I greet them and I took a sit silently because usually I'm not that kind of people who can get comfortable with strangers quickly,

I was just listening to them talking about some guys name dusha, i didn't really care, so I turned my head to the window watching people who pass by .

Until I saw someone was feeding a little cat that look like she's injured in her leg , that guy was petting her white fur gently for a moment then he grabbed her and putted her in a box .

I was watching him when Aleena called me to go with her to the bathroom .

Once we were out heading to our table we noticed other people are there.There were three guys standing behind the table,

One of them turned and greet aleena then she introduced him he was actually Dusha the guy that they were talking about .

And then the second one who was named Rafan, when I saw the last one I was shocked, he turned out he is the guy who I saw through the window earlier.

" Nice to meet you I'm Corentin " he said and headed to his seat, he didn't give me a chance to even say my name .

We were all eating and talking actually they were pretty fun and I started to know them,

Amon and nerezza were actually twins, and they were same age as me and aleena, nerezza was an art major student and Amon was a music major student

Rafan was one year older than us he studied architect while Dusha and Corentin were 23 years old, the first is studying engineering and the other one business management

They were all in the same uni as me, so I will be seeing them a lot

After two days from that I was at the library trying to focus on my studies when dusha scared me from behind 

"OMG my heart you scared me " I said with my hands on my chest 

" I just thought to say hi to you when I saw you sitting " said Dusha while laughing

“ Ok what are you doing here ? “ I ask!

“ buying some milk, can you show me where to find it "

“ no seriously "

“ I'm here with that boring Corentin, he is over there reading business books like does he even have a life " he said and pointed at a table far away from us

I saw him drawing in the book in his hand " and I thought you will be more fun " said dusha

I mean he's very energetic I couldn't even complete my work while he was talking to me about some parties he been to 

But the thing I was sure about that somebody had an eyes on us a lot of times.
