HOLLIS:

This bench was one of the better ones in this particular park, no wood panels that left marks on your cheek, or curved seat that made it impossible to be comfortable but then again it was never comfortable.

The pillow I had snatched on my way out of the house didn't provide much of a cushion but I tried to ignore it in favor of the warm summer air that ruffled my hair. The downside of living on a park bench half the time, was that you're awake at the crack of dawn and it's almost impossible to get back asleep. I yawned and checked my phone that had just lit up with a text message.

ROMAN:

Where are u?

ME:

ROMAN:

ME:

ROMAN:

ME:

ROMAN:

Don't care

Some people just don't get it.

I want to be left alone.
