Hearing the door open of the house open, I jumped out the window to avoid confrontation and slipped in the car, now parked in the driveway.
I had a vague memory of where the location was; I knew for sure that it wasn't in through the front but around back.
Somewhere.
Then, realizing that I was a fucking idiot, I texted Dante and he sent me the address.
Assuming it was a party, I dressed in plain ass black sweats and a nirvana hoodie that I had found in a parking lot, stained white vans completed the piece. Finally I pulled up to the location he had sent and exited the car, following the blasting music and drunken laughter. The abandoned "tower" was in fact not a tower at all and a pang of disappointment hit my chest, it was a crumbling building that was covered in greenery and surrounded by well dressed teenagers. Not bothering to find Dante I headed for a bottle of gin, sitting on one of the tables, all alone and without someone to take care of it.
Aw, how sad.
I pushed my way through the sweaty crowd but before I could grab that poor homeless bottle, a hand grabbed my shoulder and with great disappointment I turned to see Dante.
"You came," he said with a lazy voice, as if he didn't have another care in the world. Before I answered, I grabbed the bottle and held it behind my back, just in case someone wanted to take it.
" I said I would'' I added, ignoring his question. He leaned in close and flicked my forehead with his finger, I flinched backwards and he smirked.
"That doesn't mean anything,"
I scowled at his retreating figure and took a swig out of the bottle.
Alright Supergrass: Play
Yes, I was drunk.
But was I high?
..yep.
Lounging on a set of stairs, a guy I had just met was talking to me about his cheating girlfriend.
or was it his sister.
I didn't really care enough to pay attention but he was sharing his weed so I gave him the courtesy of a nod here and there but then, looking up I saw he was gone, glancing around and after a few pathetic attempts to stand up, I opted for leaning against the banister in search of someone else to share drugs with.
"Hollis right?"
Man I was popular.
I tried to focus on my gaze and finally my eyes landed on a tall arab boy who was coming towards me. His skin was perfect and tanned, eyes a charming grey that matched is curly white locks.
"You're- very pretty sir, " The words just slipped out and I couldn't help but laugh, burying my head in the sleeve of my hoodie.
Everything was so funny.
The arab boy was also amused and he stepped closer so our noses were almost touching. My heart sped up to a flutter.
" I'm Rylance,"
"Hollis,"
"I know, Dante talks about you," He said and I smirked.
"Does he now," He had to be lying, the idea of Dante talking about me was laughable.
"And you obviously don't like him,"
I nodded my head in exaggerated agreement.
"Help me annoy him then," He finished and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Dante watching us with hard eyes, a pretty brunette girl pawing at his arm.
"Kiss me," at those words my eyes snapped right back to him and I leaned forward, crashing my mouth on his in a violent kiss of tough and teeth, his hands reached up and tangled themselves in my hair, pulling me as close as he could. Opening my eyes, I saw Dante almost out of his seat and I enjoyed the look of wrath that twisted his features.
So just for fun, I pulled away and motioned with my eyes to the bedrooms upstairs that I had seen earlier, his face lit up with pleasant surprise, then lust as he grabbed my hand half ran up the stairs.
