Recording Peeps: The Intro

"So tell me why you guys decided to make a podcast titled "Home" again?" Kannon, otherwise known as Father or Queen on the air asked, pulling a chair up to the long set of tables hooked up to recording software and spoke into a mic to test if it was working.

A few heads turned towards the end of the table, in which the original three (Blake, known as Cupid, Moon, known as Love, and Arctic, mostly called Brib) sat, the female of them chuckling. "We uh..." Blake started, cracking a small smile to the three "The podcast was originally called 'The Land of Simps', but when more and more people joined, we resorted to calling it 'Home'". It's supposed to represent how we're like a family

"That's too wholesome ewwwwww" Twink, known to the crew as Apollo gagged, having editing crew member Raycel frown at him. The action instantly changed Apollo's attitude, waving at the male with a smile on his face.

Just then, two people entered the room, both carrying large containers filled to the brim with food. "Nove, Mink! Welcome to the podcast! How was your date?" Owl asked from her seat, giving the two that entered a smile as she gestures to their seats. The two in mention, although usually called Nini and Mini off-camera, blushed. The latter sits in the chair and says "We didn't go on a date, Duet," which proceeded to have most of the members there scoff, one of them leaning into the mic. "Yeah, bullshit. Neither of you are this late, Mink. So what did happen, I'm curious" Fel, known as Mermaid, says, being supported by Sel, known as Hara.

"Oh look it's two Ghosts ganging-" Mini started, before being interrupted by the slide of their girlfriend's chair next to her. "So the flowers and the romantic gestures meant nothing?" The girl asked, lacing her hand with Mini's hand. "Mink I thought you didn't go on a date?" Moon said, playfully mocking Mini. "Love I-"

"Come on you guys. If Mink doesn't want to talk about it, leave them be" Kannon intervenes once again, separating the two from the about-to-be argument in their future. "Cupid, that means you too. Now, can we get the topic for today?"

"So might as well continue that, our topic today was about simps" Arctic laughed at the groan that escaped from Mini and the glare that hit him from Nini. "Why are we even having this conversation, I'm pretty sure most of us are simps anyway"

"And we all know who each other simp for since most of us are dating," Another individual says, rolling their eyes from next to Fel. "Nice to see you've finally decided to speak Ghost the third." "What does that even mean-" Ghost the third, known as Glitchy off recording spoke, before Apollo intervened.

"Back to the real question at hand, what did you two do Nove and Mink?" Apollo raised his eyebrows at the duo, two vastly different reactions coming from their facials. "I hate you so much, I hope you know that Twink," escaped Nini's mouth, while Mini tries to hide in the shorter's neck.

"Why are you attacking us when Love and Cupid are right there, Hara and Duet are cuddling god fucking damn it! Why are you guys pointing at us?" Nini rolled her eyes, pouting a bit as she leans back in her chair. "You're not you when your hungry" Apollo joked, causing a slight glare to come from Nini's direction.

"He's right in a way, just go eat. We can continue when you're better." Kannon intervenes, giving a concerned glance to the irritated girl. Said girl mentioned shrugged, leaning towards the mic. "You guys can continue without me, this is Nove, signing out. Peace."

The group watches Nini leave, before getting straight on the topic. "Well since we've talked about couple's opinions on outside simps, let's just move on to simping on single people." Glitchy introduced, looking at two people in particular. "Father, Birb. That's for you" They joke, leaning back in their seat.

"Let's just start the conversation by saying I don't think either of us would mind if people simp respectfully. But sometimes people take it a little too far, and that's when we start getting uncomfortable" Kannon starts, gaining a ton of hums of agreement across the board.

"Wait but you're saying that people that simp romantically are gross?" Apollo asked, snorting a bit. "Yes, they're gross" Arctic intervenes, answering for Kannon.

Most of the people burst out into banter, having fun with each other. The time zooms by quickly, the arguments turning pointless.

"Well, I think it's time to finish the podcast." Blake started, looking at Moon to start the outro.

"This is Life," Moon said.

"This is Care" Kannon, bouncing off Moon answered

"This is Love" Mini

"This is Chaos" Apollo, partially joking replied before everyone comes into unison with the last line.
"This is Home, signing out"

Woah, first chapter? From me? Wow, that's new.
