We entered the classroom. Most of the colleagues were already present. As I walked to my bench, I glanced at Delilah, who had a careless face, shyly greeted the twins, and sat down on the bench. I'm more than sure Nathan looked at me, but I couldn't look at him anymore. Before the first class started, the girl in front of me dropped a pencil directly under my bench.
-Oh no! Can you give me the pencil, Avery, or what's your name?
-Uhm, sure! I replied politely.
I leaned over the pencil and handed it to the girl in front of me.
-Thank you very much !
-Uhm, your name was Kiara, right?
-Yes.
I didn't have time to say anything, because the literature teacher, Mrs. Camille, entered the door.Mrs. Camille
She was a tall lady and looked stern at first sight, but she was very good. I had class with her yesterday, after math class, before Delilah strangled me. I was pretty good at literature, and I often answered with Delilah, the class's VIP, and these answers helped me think less about Nathan and his murder. Zerah answered less often, but she asked me when she didn't know.
At the end of the class, the teacher said:
-As a homework you will have a group project, in which you will work 3-4 children, and if it is not enough, we increase the number of members or decrease it.
How wonderful it was for Zerah and I to be the ones without a team. And where did they put us? With Nathan and Kiara. Yeah, after all, you're still staying with the vampire if you can. How wonderful, isn't it? Yes I know. Oh, look, I'm talking to myself again like a fool.
After school, Kiara came to us and told us:
-Girls, I have a problem. I will not be able to work on the project until today, tomorrow we have guests and the project is the day after tomorrow, and we are at school. We can't even go to my house, preparations are being made.
-Eh, heehe ... I can't, because, because ... Because we have deworming beetles! Zerah says in a hoarse voice.
Of course, they made up an apology, because neither am I, and I'm sure Zerah wouldn't like a vampire at home either. For many years there has been talk of how bad vampires can do, and I didn't feel like seeing my mother sucked by the throat. Then Nathan shows up and says :
-You can come to me, I see that everyone is busy ... he says looking at me as if he knew what I was thinking.
-Oh, ok! Kiara says unaware of what Nathan really was.
-Uhm, to you ?????
I was a statue, and so was Zerah.
-Yes, is something wrong ? and winks at me.
-No ! Really nothing. WHAT could it be wrong ? It's not like someone is going to eat us alive for sure.
Kiara didn't realize. She was smart in school, but she was stupid in society. I'm glad she didn't realize.
And yes, it stayed that way. After I finished all the homework, Nathan I don't know if he did them, I packed up with something I needed, I told my mother I was leaving and I went to Nathan's house.I'm so sorry for not posting! :<
But i need a short break :^ cause i did not have any ideas. Anyways , i hope u like the new Chapter! <3
