"INTRO TO EL"

LOOK IF YOU ASKED LORELEI BLACK TO EXPLAIN THE EVENTS OF PAST FEW MONTHS ALL SHE WOULD SAY IS — SHIT. The months had been nothing short of a horrendous blur of the almost excruciatingly slow paced time of El's entire life, though Lorelei was pretty used to the tragic part of life — she didn't want to be anymore.

You see, what had happened was when her mum gave birth to Lorelei on a  particularly cloudy day (Her dad says that to everyone, but El knows it's just him spewing bullshit — it was a clear day when she was born) was also when her life started going to shit.

Neveah Ross looked down at her baby girl and she didn't feel that instant need to be the best mother she ever could — she felt panic, she was just a kid — she was nineteen and just like her mum had warned her, she'd ended up destroying her life and her career.

Neveah Ross left the father-daughter-duo that day at night, using up all the left over strength to apparate away and cry in her mother's lap as soon as she got home.

The good? Birdie Potter, her life long soulmate that she Lorelei soon came to know — even as babies, they just knew. Don't tell Birdie but Lorelei still adores the baby pictures her dad and Birdie's dad took with them dressed up in dog and deer onesies.

Her dad? Well, he left her to chase after a rat, of course! Which then proved to be pointless because Lily and James Potter were alive all this time, it's a secret, though, so shhhh.

Lorelei then got chosen as a champion for Durmstrang and ended up losing her best friend and the possible love of her life in that maze because of that dick Voledemort.

Fast forward a few days later, Lorelei now has to live with her estranged father and the more tolerable and clearly better parent — her mum — until the start of Hogwarts which she now transferred to, in a dusty old grim looking place.

This was all such bullshit.
