???: "I'm telling you, Aymeric expressed deep concern about this weapon and about those who are seeking it out. Time is of the essence and if we don't act quickly, Eorzea will be nothing more than a wasteland of chaotic proportions."

???: "Calm yourself, we still have yet to fully grasp the severity of the situation. Aymeric did mention that one of his guard captains reported several deaths at the front gate to Ishgard."

???-2: "What does that have to do with our search for the weapon?"

???:
"I believe a closer investigation is in order. The report stated that it was three shinobi, however, the only people remaining were those who they attacked. A gunbreaker and a woman with a snake sword by witness accounts."

???-2: "Ah another gunbreaker, how reassuring that I'm not the only one toting a gunblade around."

???:
"Not just any gunbreaker... perhaps the 'Roaring Shadow' has emerged from solitude. But the woman I wonder... who could be accompanying him... and why."

???-2: "You believe he too is on the hunt for our disastrous prize?"

???: "Perhaps, it would warrant and merit his attention, let alone the killing of three shinobi."

???-2: "Then we should speak with him and this mystery lady, I can use my charm of course to woo any information from her lips."

???: "Thancred, sometimes even you borderline on despicable with the way you treat women."

Thancred: "A part of my vast array of bells and whistles it would seem. Right next to my charm, even attempted it on you once."

???: "And how did that fare for you?"

Thancred: "We were nearly buried alive."

???: "Precisely. Now, if the horseplay is out of the air, I would send a message to him at once and request an audience. He could be a valuable asset to our strategy."

Thancred: "You truly believe he will respond?"

???: "No, but we must try. Alert our friend about the recent developments."

The white-haired Hyur unfolded his arms from his chest, giving a two-fingered salute before turning on his heels to leave the room, his gunblade holstered neatly on his back. At that moment, before he could reach the door handle, it swung open to reveal a red-haired miqo'te listening in on their conversation, which he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. Thancred just gave the lad a pat on the head and a jokester's grin before marching out of the room fully and towards the exit. Nevertheless, the young adventurer entered, his tail wagging back and forth ever so slightly as the other miqo'te across the room seemed gloom, lost in thought and resting the side of her head against her knuckles while her tail was barely moving from her black and gray attire.

???: "Y'shtola, is something amiss?"

Y'shtola: "No, just worried is all. This plan about this weapon grows more and more disastrous every passing moment. We waste time while the Alliance tends to its battles with the Empire."

???: "Perhaps they focus on this new Ascian like the Warrior of Dark-... erm I mean Warrior of Light does. Though it leaves us with few options and lacking resources, we will manage I'm sure of it."

Y'shtola: "G'raha, I admire your optimism and hopefulness in this trying time, but we understand little about what we are up against. I can only hope that we manage this without having to resort to drastic measures."

G'raha: "Fear not, we will get through this, with or without our hero."

Y'shtola: "I can only hope...

"Y'shtola: "I can only hope
