chapter 1 | REUNION

TODAY IS THE DAY. The past two years have been the most eventful of my life. In first year I found out that I was a witch and came to Hogwarts. I met my best friends and we stopped Voldemort from getting the Philosopher's Stone.

Second year I joined the Gryffindor quidditch team as a chaser. Muggleborns we're getting petrified and I was scared for my life until I found out I was a pureblood. My mother's name was Vienna Slytherin. My friends know now, and they still love me. Harry defeated the basilisk in the chamber of secrets and turns out Voldemort was the one petrifying the muggleborns.

Anyway, today is the day I get to see my best friends. First term of third year is about to start, and I've signed up for a lot more subjects this year with Hermione.

I still live with my adoptive parents (muggles) so they're taking me to London. Right now, I'm packing my suitcase and my present for Harry for when I get there.

"Y/n! Are you ready hun?" My mum called for me.

"Yeah, coming mum!" I yelled back. I quickly zipped up my trunk, my cat, Frodo and ran downstairs.

"You ready, cookie?" My dad asked.

"Yep." I replied.

"Let's go, then." Mum said. She grabbed my hand and we walked to the car. I put Frodo in the seat with me as my dad put my trunk into the boot. And we were off.

Once we arrived I checked into my room and left my stuff. I met my parents at the table and we ordered lunch. After lunch my parents told me they had to go to work.

"Make sure you stay safe, and don't wander off, okay hun?" Mum asked.

"Okay."

"And make sure you bring me home one of those 'mandake' thingies so I can scare off the rats." Dad said jokingly.

"Mandrake, dad." I corrected.

"Whatever. Au revoir, cookie!" My dad said as he waved at me.

"Au revoir, mum, dad!" I said waving back. After my parents left I decided to go up to my room. I opened my book, Pride & Prejudice, and began to read.

Over the next few days, Y/n spent her time walking around Diagon Alley and some muggle shops nearby. She got some jewelry for Hermione and herself, some muggle sweets for Ron, and an extra little present for Harry; for his birthday, of course.
