Dani

Wake up. Eat. Work. Watch. Sleep.

That's how most of their days were. If she wasn't with her team mates Dani wouldn't know how to stay sane in this mental facility. She was always too uptight. Always had to be in control, always had to keep her nightmares from hunting her friends. Most of the time she was able to keep them at bay, but recently her nightmares had been increasing. She always feared she wouldn't be able to hold back much longer.

Dani shook her thoughts off and got up from her bed. She despised everything about her room, she despised being a prisoner. However there wasn't much she could do about it. The best thing she could do was to make sure everyone was safe. Sam was very helpful about that when he wasn't making things difficult by acting like the group leader. Dani was the, if not formal, the actual leader and she was sure everyone else knew that deep inside. She was certain of that, yet she saw Sam as her big brother. Sam was all of their big brother.

After fixing her outfit, Dani walked out of the room and began to walk towards the living room. She wanted to check the others, and hoped that Rahne would be there. A warm wave hit her face as she entered the room. It was a bit warmer than rest of the facility but she never understood why. And there was Rahne, sitting on the floor cross legged and watching the TV. Doug was also there, sitting on the couch and reading a book in who knows what language. If everybody could understand every language like Cypher, then everybody would love reading as much as he does. Or maybe they wouldn't.

"Hi Doug" Dani waved him after she entered and he returned it with a small smile as he looked up from his book for a second then went back to reading. Dani immediately sat next do Rahne and put her arm around her. "What are you doing Rahne?" Rahne must have not noticed Dani's presence as she was startled by her arm and voice. "Watching a movie, that's what it looks like ah'm doin... right?" She gave a shy smile but it didn't stop her from throwing a comeback.

Dani sits and watches with her just for the sake of being a good company. She liked spending time with Rahne. It always made her feel like everything was alright, even in this place. They watch TV for a while, until Dr. , if that's actually who she says she is, Reyes' voice scratch their ears through the speaker.

"Everybody is expected in the therapy room for today's session"

Rahne growled quietly and Dani let out a sigh. She closed the TV and waited for Rahne. When they were getting out of the room she noticed Doug was already gone. They when slowly walking to the therapy room as they took their sweet time and chatted.

"Hello lovely ladies"

Even those three words which sounded so nice and complimenting were enough to make Dani's eyes roll. "Hello Bobby" Rahne greeted. She didn't seem to mind Roberto much at all. That boy. Did he even have any manners at all? "Ready for another very boring 'therapy' session?" Roberto asked cheekily while walking with them. "I hope it to be over as soon as it starts" Dani commented annoyedly. Berto opened the door for them and they finally entered the therapy room. Sam, Amara, Shan and Doug were already sitting their places. Dr. Reyes seemed like she was showing a remarkable effort to wait everyone patiently. The three quietly got to their places and they all waited for the last member of the group for some more minutes.

And there she was. Fashionably late, she would say all the time. She had no intention on following the rules. Actually everyone knew she was breaking as much of them as she could to express how much she hated this place. She was right. They were supposed to be in the mansion going to missions, not in an asylum trying to 'control' their powers. "Ms Rasputin, I am expecting a more responsible behaviour from you next time." Dr Reyes stated irritatedly. "Telling a demon what to do Reyes?" Illyana sent a cold glare and walked to her seat with sharp steps. Lockheed was with her as always. She sat down and the session started... God, she would do anything just to get out of this place.
