I wake up gasping for air and notice that I have tears in my eyes. Usually, when I wake up from a dream I always have tears but thank God I don't scream because then I would wake up my family and they would ask a question that I don't want to answer. So I do what I usually do when I wake up from a bad dream I go for a ride on my motorcycle . It's currently 2:30 and I start college tomorrow yay me!! Do you hear the excitement in my voice
Before sneaking out my window I grab my knife because honestly you never know. I grab my keys and my nike backpack for when I go ridding.
As soon as I leave my house I put on my AirPods and play my music from my playlist. I get on my bike but before starting it I back out of my house so it won't be that loud.
Going on rides at this time is probably on of my favorite things to do because it's almost always empty so I take my usual route and start going pass the speed limit.
I started getting nightmares about 2 years ago and so every time a would get one I would go out for rides at 2 or 3 in the morning. When I was going on my daily night ride I saw that there was a warehouse up for sale.
From the outside it looked like in good condition so I decided to start saving up to put up a payment and so now 2 years later I now own it. I actually complete paying it next month.
When I need to get away I usually come here. I have never brought or told anyone that I own a place. If it was up to me I would have left my toxic home but I only stay because of my little sister and I'm only waiting for my dad to get out so he can custody of my little sister.

Like I said I found it while riding but the reason why I found it was because I got lost and ended up seeing it and it's low key hard to find it unless you know where it's at.
I have like cameras everywhere because I always thought they were cool and plus some at the gate before entering my property.

This is the inside of my house. As I get here I park my motorcycle and head in side. When I'm inside I take of my shoes and hear something coming my way and as I turn around my German Shepard jumps on as well as his tail is going side to side. "Who's a good boy" I tell him in a baby voice. I decided to go take a nap since I still have to wake up at 9 in the morning. I don't know how I'm able to get better sleep in my place then in a place I'm suppose to call home.
As I'm closing my eyes I feel tayo cuddle next to me and with that my nightmares go away.
