Chapter 1
"So what's your plan for it?" Angel asked.
"Well.. probably hit and run strategy. I'm not good with close combat style. So avoiding them would be a good decision." I replied.
"Ah, archer relies on bow and arrows right? Good luck with that especially fighting against Plu since he has a shield." Angel casually indirectly attacked me through her words.

Yes.. I am pretty much useless in this fight. But I am going to do my best for the rare item. According to the staff, the stats for these weapons are pretty high. It increases the percentage of our overall stats rather than addition numbers.

"Don't worry about it Lucky. I will go easy." A somewhat arrogant smirk formed on Plu's face.
"Your face doesn't match with what you are saying.." I let out a sigh.

As the three of us continued to talk, we had already finished walking down the main East road from the Inn towards the Central ground. A huge massive dome appeared right infront of us. There were stands by the sides that were used as the spectators area.

As the viewing was free, many citizen in the town were gathered here even when there was almost one hour till the opening of the tournament. There were a few notable people. The white hair teenager who striked the goblin in the dungeon on the first day, some unusual tall yet young and short people.

There were two long queues. One being the spectator while the other was for the participants. We gotta join the participant's queue. Ahead of the queue was a tall and a rather muscular old bearded guard. You could say he was the guard of this town. I guess this would be a tough tournament. Some of these participants look intimidating while some seems to be an easy opponent. Like the boy over there who seems to be weak. He doesn't seem to be taking it seriously either. This would be an easy match.

Soon, it was our turn to register.
"Good day to you adventurers. Please place your hand onto this" the guard directed us to a crystallized looking object.

As I placed my hand, the object glowed brightly before returning to its normal state. Then, a notification appeared within my sight.

<<Registration Completed>>
<<You were given a 'Participant Crest'>>

I supposed this would be given to everyone who registered for the tournament.
"Lucky, you will be in block C. These are your opponents." The guard handed me a paper. There, I see the brackets for the tournament.
"Fight till 10% hp.." I read out.

Hold on.. this is rigged. The tanks would win considering they have more health points..there goes my chance.

"So what Block would you be at?" Angel approached to me.
"Block C. You?"
"Block A with Plu."
"That's fortunate. I wish the best for the both of ya. We gotta get ready. About.." I paused, opened up the interface and read off the time from there. "20 minutes till the tournament begins."

"Alright. All the best Lucky." Angel waved and proceeded on with Plu.
I went to a different direction.

There are a total of three blocks. Block A, B and C. All located close to each other. The letters were big on the sign so it was easy to identify. As I walked into the participant restroom, I could feel the intense pressure. Everyone has a rather serious and intense concentration on their face. The room was filled with in various ages. From the youngest that seems like 14 to the adults range. These adult men seems like they have a vast amount of experiences in fighting. I straightened my back in shock after being stared by an intimidating participant.

"Hi, is there anyone that is taking this seat?" I asked a young looking person after approaching to a chair that appears to be empty.
"No." He answered in his youthful voice.
