Every single thing about that night was perfect. After we finally reached the streets of London, Harry and I exchanged phone numbers and I called Rachel for directions to the hotel. I took a taxi to that hotel and ran inside. When I got up to my room I collapsed on the bed with a huge grin on my face. Rachel walked in with a cup of tea in her hand a smirk dancing in her lips. "I see you had fun," she winked. "Yeah, a bit" I said calmly pretending it was no big deal. I would usually tell Rachel all my boy drama but right now I felt she was being more professional than playful about this deal.

I got up and changed out of my day clothes into one of my old highschool sweatshirts and black shorts. When I laid down on the pillow, almost falling asleep, my phone vibrated on the little side table next to me.

"Dakota, I had a really lovely time with you today. I can't wait for tomorrow. Meet me at the lake around 4:30?  xxxx -Harry"

"Me too:) That'd be amazing.  -Dakota"

I smiled widely and became more and more anxious for the morning. He sent me an attachment of his address and I set an alarm on my phone for 3:45. I plugged my phone back into my charger and once more fell into a dreamless sleep.

Beep Beep Beep. My alarm clock went off. I lugged myself out of the comfort of the warm bed and into the bathroom. I took a quick shower and blow dried my hair. My hair naturally was wavy and had little curls so I decided to leave it natural. I looked through my suitcase trying to find something cute to wear. I decided on being a little girlier and putting on a pretty off-white sundress that was almost like a tank top on the top, and tight around the bottom of my rib cage but flowed to about mid-thigh.

I applied light mascara and a little coat of foundation. I looked into the mirror at myself and grabbed my phone and key room key then headed out the door. I called a taxi who brought me to Harry's. When I got out of the car, it was still pretty dark outside but I could make out Harry sitting at the end of the dock with his feet hanging over the edge. I walked slowy over to Harry and sat down next to him. He hadn't even looked at me yet but he knew I was there. We both stared out at the sun that was beginning to rise.

"It's beautiful" he whispered

"It truly is" I agreed

"Almost as beautiful as you" he then looked directly at me with such comfort in his eyes. Sure he was cheesy, sure I hadn't known him for nearly two days, but I feel like we were going to be very close one day.

"You're so cheesy" I snickered and blushed. He just nodded and laughed

"Do you see that gray right there?" I pointed out to the sunrise as the colors slowly merged together. He then looked at me again the same way he did the night before like what I said was to far for him to understand but it sounded so inspiring.

We watched as the sun made its way up into the sky then shined down on the lake. Harry scooted closer to me and wrapped both his arms around me waist. I leaned my head on his chest and listened softly to his heartbeat. There was a silence drifting in the air but not an awkward one. It was a peaceful, calm one.

It was a beautiful moment with his strong arms around me and the warmth of his body radiating off me. It was perfect until both of our phones went off at the exact same time. We each took them out and opened our messages.

From Simon:

Your first public outing will be today at 8:00 am near the London eye. You must stay together for at least 1 hour. We have hinted towards the paparazzi that you two will be there, so be wary of the cameras. Good luck.

I looked at the time on my phone which read 7:00. "We better get going now," I murmured. I didn't want to leave this moment. "Yeah we should. I can drive us if you want?" He said. "That'd be great." We got up and took a short walk to his car.

When we got there he opened my door for me and I turned a crimson red. He went over to the drivers side and hopped in. While he was driving we started making small talk about our lives and the music business. I told him about my tour and my fans. Our conversation was going smoothly until he asked, "Dakota, are you okay with this publicity stunt? I mean did you ever want this?" I sighed. I knew he was going to ask me this. "I mean, it doesn't bother me that I'm going to be with you alot, I like that part but I never really thought I wanted a lot attention and millions of fans. I mean it just seems kind of overwhelming with all that pressure to be a role model and a bunch of cameras in your face everywhere you go. I see how some celebrities have it, like you. I love my life right now but Rachel doesn't really understand that and I've never had the voice to speak up and tell her." He then took his eyes off the road and placed him hand on my knee. "I understand exactly what you mean. It's really scary but I know you can do it. You can change people's lives and I'll be there to help you every step of the way. I'm sorry that this is what you never wanted, but there are perks. I can be like your mentor. " he grinned widely.

It felt so good knowing I had someone who would help me out along the way. It felt even better that it was Harry.
