"Ayo, Key!" Ryan called through my bedroom door. "Keylen, let me in, I want to style you today, I want to do your makeup." Sighing, I trudged over to my door and opened it. Ryan stood there in all his tall, red haired, brown eyed, freckled faced, pierced beauty. "Let me in." He said, picking me up and carrying em to my bed, placing me on it. "I know light bothers your eyes, but seriously, get some light in your life." He complained walking over to my curtains and opening them slowly. "But you're the only light I need Ryan...." I whined covering my eyes. He laughed his pretty laugh and turned to me smiling.

Ryan P.O.V:

Turning to look at Keylen with their messy grey hair that has colourful streaks, beaded sections, some small braids and string wrapped sections all tangled up in their locks, Their baby blue eyes, tiny petal lips and doll like face. They don't need much makeup to cover imperfections. They don't really have spots or acne even though they barely go outside, their skin is extremely clear. Maybe some small amounts of concealer to cover the dark circles. "Go and get yourself washed up. I'll pick your outfit whilst you're gone." I said turning away. Hearing them move from behind me, I walked over to their wardrobe and opened it.

Looking into their wardrobe, it was almost pure black with colours in a gradient form at one end. There was also a bright yellow cropped puffer jacket hanging at the end that I gave them, because it arrived too small for me. I took that out and laid it on their bed. I moved to the jumpers, picking out a 'colourful' one, well it had different shades of cream, beige, yellow and orange with a dark green zig zag sort of pattern running across it, the same green running around the massive V neck collar, sleeves and bottom of the jumper. Also placing that on their bed, I finally moved to their trousers. Pulling out a pair of dark blue 'Mom Jeans' with a golden threaded criss-cross pattern that ran from the mid thigh to mid shin on the front and a chain attached to the side. That was the final item to go onto the bed. Now it was time for socks and shoes, for socks I chose a pair that were a dark navy with little ducks on, because even though you cant see them, Keylen would be proud that i put some of their style into it. For shoes it was a high top pair of Nike trainers that were white with yellow laces, blue and green accents with a navy coloured sole. (If you know the outfit I'm describing I love you)

Keylen entered the room again in just their black boxers, their green silk pyjamas over one arm. "Clothes are on the bed Keylen!" I said smiling. They sighed and threw their pyjamas onto their pillow. "Yellow?" They whined picking up the jacket and moving it so they could sit down and put their socks on. I nodded walking over to their dressing table and looked at their sunglasses. To match the outfit I'd picked out, I chose a pair with thin gold rims and dark rose tinted lenses, Turning around to look at them I sighed. " You really do not know how to dress yourself do you honey?" I walked over to them and lifted their jumper up. "First we tuck this into the waistband of your jeans, then we belt the jeans as they look like they're about to fall off you." I said adjusting the way they were dressed. "But if it isn't loose and hanging down, it just falls off my shoulder." Keylen complained. I laughed and shook my head. "That's how it's supposed to be, it's fashion love." They sighed at my words.

"Anyways, Anygays even," Keylen rolled their eyes at my joke. "I know exactly what makeup I'm going to do for you." I said, grabbing my bag from where i dropped it by his door. Unzipping it, I took my makeup bag out and sat on the bed, patting the spot next to me. Keylen sat down next to me and turned to face me. "I'm going to go with a light nude base with some graphic yellow and black eyeliner, the yellow to match your outfit and the black because black eyeliner, duh. probably some pale gold glitter over the yellow and fake freckles to add to the few you already have." I explained whilst getting the makeup from the bag and wipes. They shut their eyes and mumbled. "Go for it then." I applied a light concealer to form a base for the neutral colours, applying the shadows. I focused on memorising Their face so I'd be able to draw out face maps to plan and create makeup looks for him in advance rather than when I am looking at him and what he is wearing.

Taking my black pen liner I drew a small wing line on both eyes, then getting my yellow cream eyeshadow, I dipped a fine paintbrush into it (definitely not stolen from Keylen) and drew a yellow line that followed the natural curve of their brow bone about a centimetre from the underside of their eyebrow. After I'd finished doing that on both sides, I got my very fine loose gold glitter and unscrewed the cap carefully making sure not to spill any, because I know Keylen would murder me if they woke up in the morning with gold glitter on them. Getting a flat brush, I lightly tapped it into the glitter and patted it over the cream eyeshadow, gently blowing the excess away. Screwing the lid back on, I placed the eye stuff back in its bag. Taking out a wipe I cleaned up the eyeshadow fallout from under their eyes, after, I lightly dabbed some concealer under their eyes and blended it out. Finishing up their concealer, I looked at where their natural freckles and beauty marks were to try and accentuate where they are normally and add to the areas that there weren't many or any at all. Taking the product and the right brush, i tapped light dots onto their nose-bridge, cheeks and forehead. setting them with a transparent powder, I used for the rest of the makeup and was finished.

"I've done Key." I said putting my brushes back in the little packet that I'll have to clean after school. Keylen opened their eyes and blinked a few times probably to focus their vision. I handed the the glasses I picked out and they put them on, uncrossing their legs from where they'd crossed them to sit facing me, they stood up and wandered over to their dressing table to look in the mirror. "Wow, Thanks." They said softly, a smile appearing on their face as they turned their head to see all of what I'd done. I smiled back as they turned to face me "I think you could probably put on a couple of necklaces so your neck won't look so bare if the jumper slips off your shoulder." I suggested casually and they nodded, turning back and opening a draw in their dresser, taking out a short silver chain necklace and a longer silver chain necklace. "Can you clip these behind my neck please?" They asked looking back at me and holding them up slightly behind their head. I nodded and took them. Brushing their hair out the way, I clipped the shorter of the two first, then the longer one. "Thank you." They said turning around, to hug me. "No problem KeyKey." I responded, hugging them back and swaying side to side with them. They slapped my arm gently and whined trying to pull away from my hug. "Let gooo...." They laughed. I let go of them and patted their shoulder before sorting their hair out so the separate strands of braids, beads and string wraps weren't all tangled up. "Come on then, time for school." I sighed whilst picking up my bag and swinging it over my shoulder as I walked out and turned to face them. I could tell they were glaring at me from behind their glasses from the way their brows furrowed and their mouth formed a small pout. "Stop glaring at me Key." I said. They huffed "You almost hit me with your bag." They pouted, I bent down and placed a little platonic kiss to his mouth. "Okay, fine- sorry, Lets go." I said holding out my hand for them to take, which they did, they sighed. "Fine, lets go." they muttered. We left their small apartment and headed into the school building together.
