We arrive at the tower. I had told Bruce i was thinking about San Francisco as a home base and training grounds for the Titans. The building is probably close to 581 stories. We pile ourselves out of the car. Rachel, Jason, and Gar are invested and want to run around and check out the place. Its the Titans tower, you know, no ones expecting anything to happen. We had just finished fighting Trigon and we thought things would be good for awhile. Gar and Jason run off to check out and claim rooms. Rachel is unsure after everything we went through but i reassured her that Bruce Wayne bought the place and we'll be alright. Gar and Jason are fighting over the biggest room and Rachel was modest and chose one of the medium rooms. All the rooms are pretty big its just the master was bigger than anything else obviously. I walk up to Gar and Jason and say, ¨Here's an idea. Spare for the room. Whoever hits the floor first, wins.¨ The look on their faces, it was obvious that that was a good idea in their eyes. Jason runs and grabs two wooden swords. He tosses one to Gar and he catches it. They run at each other and leap into the air. ¨Wait! You got to do it blindfolded,¨ I say. ¨What?!¨ Jason and Gar exclaim together. ¨Do it blindfolded. In battle anything can be taken from you. So i want to to practice blindfolded.¨ I give them blindfolds and they wrap them around their heads. ¨Ready? Begin!¨
They run at each other and swing the wooden blades. They clash. Gar does a back spin flip and Jason does a side flip ending in spin swing. Gar barley raises his blade in time. Gar rolls backwards into a standing position. He swings his blade down at Jason's feet and Jason jumps back. Gar rolls forward coming up with an upward strike. Jason brings his blade down and Gar pokes Jason in the stomach. Jason stumbles backwards and Gar kicks out. He hits Jason in the chest and Jason almost leans back onto the mat but his hands shoot out and he is holding himself upright. He kicks up and hits Gar in the chin and then Gar falls on his back. ¨WINNER!¨ I declare. "I got the room, I got the room," Jason rubs in.
