It was Christmas break and Remus was back at home. He was pretty happy, even if he wouldn't see his friends in a few weeks- I mean at least he had his parents with him that was okay. He was in bed reading a book he started a few days ago called. It was called They Both Die at the End, in Remus' opinion it was a pretty good book so far. As he's reading a line of the book catches his eye. "Sometimes the truth is a secret you're keeping from yourself because living a lie is easier." Remus read aloud to himself. The truth was that Remus couldn't admit the truth, he just couldn't. He felt like he was living a lie, he wasn't going to admit that he was madly in love with one of his best friends. Well...not anytime soon at least. Not until he knew Sirius felt the same way. Like that's ever gonna happen. Sirius Black is the straighest man alive-
Remus was interrupted from his thoughts from his phone.
A text from someone. Not just anyone....
Sirius.
He opened his messages and looked at what Sirius send him.
Padfoot: Moooonyyyyy I lve yu.
Padfoot: MOOOOONNNNYYYYY
Padfoot: ASNWER MA MOOSN
Moony: What do you want, Padfoot? And why are you typing like that?
Padfoot: Im wxxstteeddd mooonnnsss

Padfoot: Okya.
And with that Remus told his parents he was going to see his friend then headed to the The three broomsticks. On they way Remus kept on thinking about Sirius. Sirius was the type of person who acted tough but really was a softy. (Of course, he would never tell anyone that but that didn't matter because Remus knew.) He was wondering why Sirius was drunk, he had told Remus he hated drinking. He hated everything about the taste, the smell, and especially the hangover the next day. So why would he drink? There must be a pretty good reason, but what was it? Maybe it was- and Remus hated- problems at home. Sirius always talked about how he was 'The family disappointment'.
Tw: abuse
He thought about how late one night Sirius told him about how is family was abusive after Remus saw a bruise.
