CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE:
Yeonjun was in the living room watching a horror movie as Jungkook was in the kitchen making dinner and his sister in the bathroom showering. He knows something is going on between Jungkook and (Y/N) but he isn't sure about it. Yeonjun stops the movie and walks into the kitchen.
He sees Jungkook face his back to him since he was cooking something. "Are you and my sister having sex?" Yeonjun asked, making Jungkook stop what he was doing and choke on the air. "N-No" he shakes his head. "(Y/N) and I are not sleeping with each other" he answers. "From all the books and movies, I read, the bad boy always has experience with sex and will have it with their lover," Yeonjun said making Jungkook's eyes widened.
"I'm a virgin. I haven't do anything yet" he says. "So you do plan on sleeping with my older sister, huh?" Yeonjun crosses his arms and Jungkook shakes his head. "No! That's not what I meant, Yeonjun" he explains. "Good because I don't want my older sister to be a mother early. After all, she still has me to watch over" he says as he takes a sip of orange juice.
(Y/N) walks downstairs to see the two males. One of them glaring while the other one was nervous. "Did something happen?" She asks. "No. I was just asking Jungkook some questions" Yeonjun said. Her eyes landed on the pan and she immediately runs towards the stove to turn it off. Jungkook looks to see that his food was burnt. "I guess someone wasn't paying attention" She crosses her arms and looked at Jungkook.
"Step aside. I'll cook up something fast. If you want to help, you can stay, or else you can-"
"I'm leaving!" Yeonjun walks out of the room, making her and Jungkook laugh. Once he was gone, Jungkook looks back at (Y/N). A smile formed on his face as he watches her become serious in the kitchen. He walks towards her and stands by her side. "Are you not going to tell him?" He asked. "I will once I'm fully sure that I-"
Jungkook leans towards her face, making her heart beat fast. "that you're safe and I'll make sure of that. I promise you" he kisses her forehead. She smiles brightly and looks back at her food. "Stop distracting me and let me cook" (Y/N) says as she moves away from him, making Jungkook laugh. As she started cutting the vegetables, Jungkook started cooking the meat. (Y/N) turns her head to see him look serious as he cooks.
From the doorway, a head pops up. Yeonjun watches his sister and Jungkook cooking together as he eats popcorn. 'You two sure do have something to hide'

(Y/N) woke up in the middle of the night. Her heart beating fast. Her hands were sweating and she couldn't breathe. She looks around the room to see everything close. (Y/N) gets up from her bed and heads downstairs to grab a cup of water.
As she walks down, she sees Jungkook sleeping peacefully on the couch. She felt bad having him sleep there every night yet he insists on sleeping there. She walks into the kitchen and grabs a cup. Once (Y/N) turns around, she jumps seeing Jungkook. "What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I can ask you the same thing" he replies. (Y/N) shows him the cup. "You?" She asks as she pours water into it. "Hear noises so I can here to see. You seem frightened. Did you get a nightmare?" He asks.
"You could say that" she took a sip of her water. Jungkook grabs her hand once she places the cup down. She was shocked when he suddenly takes her back to her bedroom. "I'll stay with you so you know that you're safe. Alright?" He says looking into her eyes. "You don't need-"
"Yes, I do. Now lay down" he said as he takes a seat on the bed. (Y/N) lays down on the bed and Jungkook started playing with her (h/c) hair. "Can tell me what you dreamt about?" he asks.
"I was at a library...a library I used to go to when I was younger. In the library, some teenager was looking at me as I was reading a book. He walks towards me and started talking. His voice sounded familiar but his face wasn't. All of a sudden, he grabbed Yeonjun and placed a knife against him. He started saying crazy things and that's when I woke up"
"No one is going to hurt you nor him. I promise you that. I will protect you two" Jungkook says in a calming voice. (Y/N) holds his hand tightly as she closes her eyes.
