A new life. That's what they needed. Dean always asking where his mommy was and when she'd be home. The boy was to young to understand death. He wouldn't understand his mommy would never be coming home.
John moved away as soon as he got out of the hospital. "Daddy, shouldn't we wait for mommy?" Dean asked from his backseat car seat.
John tensed. "Dean, mommy isn't..coming with us."
"Is she gonna meet us there?"
John looked in the mirror at Deans big green eyes. Full of hope, and happiness. John didn't have the guts to break his heart. "Mommy..is going to visit grandpa.." John told him.
"Can we visit grandpa?" Dean asked.
John shook his head. "We have things to do, Dean." And with that they were on the road.

Seven years later and they'd never stayed in one city for more than five months. Dean hated all the moving and he knew Sammy did. It was just hard for their father to keep his jobs. John got drunk on most nights, and then kept drinking all through the day and skipped work weeks at a time. Sometimes he wouldn't even ever show up.
"Dee! Dee! I made a friend at school!" Sam came into the room happily, and jumped on the couch next to Dean.
Dean smiled at his younger sister. "Really?" He asked and she nodded. Dean knew she shouldn't have...they were probably going to leave soon but she was so happy..
"His name is Jackson!" Sam said and nuzzled into Dean, and Dean chuckled. He was only eleven but with how their father was he had to act more mature than he normally should have.
Just then John walked in. "Pack your bags. We're leaving."
Sam looked up at him. "But daddy! I made a friend!" A look of sadness was on John's face and he went to his little girl. "I'm sorry, baby girl...not now...I promise soon..." John looked to Dean, and he bit his lip. "Let's go Dean." He said and Dean nodded, and grabbed the few bags they had and took them to the car.

Four years passed and they moved into a town in Colorado. John promised them this was the last move, he even bought am apartment instead of a motel. John said they were free to make friends. This was their last move.
Dean had to walk Sam to school and then get to his school. Sammy loved school, though Dean didn't care for it. He was a freshman in this new school, and it wasn't even the beginning of the year. Once Sam was dropped off Dean sighed and walked to the school.

John got a new job and he could pay rent and give his kids a good life now, he said he'd stop drinking, it was going to be hard but he'd do anything for his children.
John walked around just looking for things he could make for dinner. That is until he saw him. Bobby singer. John grinned upon seeing the old devil. "Bobby?"
Bobby turned around and saw John. "John! Where the hell have you been?! Dragging them kids everywhere!" Bobby instantly scolded. "Ya idjit."
Again. Sorry it's short, let me know how you like it!
