First mission: The Siren

Third person's pov

It was early in the morning at exactly 5 am

We can see naruko training her skills and honing them to the best of her abilities which is not enough

Since even if she trained in kenjutsu two years ago

She still bad at it so she decided to ask a favor from urukodaki-san how to improve her swordsmanship in which he gladly accept

And now she had summoned her clones up in the mountain without people around to see doubles of her practicing and fighting each other

After a while at exactly 6 am

She went down the mountain and left her clones and sometimes blood clones to handle her training

What a lazy ass

Anyways when she arrived back at the hut

There was already a man wearing what look like an oni mask but not the same design of urukodaki-san's mask

They were holding her new and forged nichirin blade with intricate design of what looked like a dragon inside the hilt

She was immediately amazed and in awe

"Hello my name's Nakamura Koutaro and I am the one who forged your blade " the person said

When they said their name

Naruko immediately wanted to cry because of the painful reminder

Their names are exactly the same as her adopted little brother koutaro

But she hold it in

" Hello my name's Uzumaki naruko and I am thankful of you forging my katana " she painfully said with a fake smile plastered on her face

It was awkward at first but she decided to go straight to the point

So she unsheathed her nichirin blade and marveled at how it looks so beautiful when it started to change color

At first nothing happened but later on sometime

The blade slowly turned into a yellow reddish orange color with the yellow being the first then a reddish one then slowly her all time favorite color ORANGE!!

She missed it but not as much since it reminded her of the times where she loved orange but got ridiculed because of it

It was a strange sight to be honest

Never have koutaro-san seen such colorful blade in his entire life

He was about to mused again when flapping of wings can be heard in the distance

" Caw caw!! Mission! Mission! Naruko! Head to South!! South-east- Your mission is to investigate and possibly eliminate the demon that caused the disappearance of villagers!! Caw caw! Hurry!! Caw!! " The annoying bird said

Naruko replied by standing up then bowed and thanked koutaro once again while putting her haori on and looked at urukodaki-san telling him to tell Tanjiro how sorry she was for not being there and congratulate him then she hurriedly chased after the crow while following it's lead

After sometime she finally arrived at the village and decided to rest for a bit before going to do her duty

It was nighttime at exactly 7pm

Naruko can be found exploring and asking the villagers in the rumors of people ranging from toddlers to adults missing
