This story is an x reader. It will mostly follow the plot of the movie, but with some new songs, and scenes. The golden ticket will also allow two adults to enter the factory with the child instead of one. I am a Christian, so there will be Christian aspects in this, and the story will be clean as well. No bad language or anything like that. I do not own Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the songs used in this story.

Chapter 1

(Y/N) was the oldest child in the Bucket family, being 25 years old compared to her 10 (soon to be 11) year old brother. She lived within a rickety shack, along with her mother, brother, and four grandparents. Her family is also very poor, having to live off cabbage water day in and day out. She tries to help out her family the best she can by working at the local candy store. Life wasn’t the easiest, but at least they were happy. However, everything was about to change for her and her family.

(Y/N)’s POV

“Bye everyone! I love you!” Charlie and I called as we headed out the door to leave for school and work. We heard everyone calling out goodbye’s and I love you’s as we closed the door of our home.

“You ready, Charlie?” I asked my little brother as I offered him my hand.

“Ya,” he said as he took my hand, “Let’s go.” Charlie and I began walking in the direction of his school, so I could drop him off before heading to work at “Bill’s Candy Shop”. As we were walking, we passed Mr. Wonka’s factory. The both of us immediately stopped and took in the sweet scent of chocolate that came from the building, before turning and smiling at each other. This was always a ritual Charlie and I did every morning, we couldn’t help but stop and smell the delicious smells that came from there. We were there for a few minutes before I decided to look down at the watch, my eyes widening in shock, realizing that we would be late soon if we didn’t hurry.

“Come on Charlie, we have to go or we’re going to be late!” I said as I quickly grabbed my brother’s hand. Holding my hand tightly, we both ran in the direction of  his school, reaching the front doors with a few minutes to spare. Kneeling down, I hugged Charlie tightly and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

“I love you Charlie. Have a blessed day at school today, and be good.” I said as I leaned back and placed my hands on his shoulders. Charlie smiled at me as he replied, “Okay (Y/N)! I love you too! Have a blessed day!” Once he finished speaking, Charlie quickly spun around, and ran to the front doors of the school. Once he was safely inside, I hurried to my job which, Thank God, was right down the street from Charlie’s school. I walk through the door and Bill greets me with a warm, fatherly smile.

“Good Morning (Y/N)! How are you today?” Bill asks, as I lift up the counter to get to the other side.

“I’m good Bill, thank you for asking. I just got done dropping Charlie off at school.” I reply with a smile.

“How is little Charlie doing? I haven’t seen him in a while.” Bill questions as the two of us start to stock the candy shelves.

“He’s doing great actually! And he’s not really little anymore. He’s turning 11 in a few days.” I say, placing some Wonka bars on the shelf.

“Really?” Bill asks, looking at me shocked. I let out a little laugh, before saying, “Ya, I can hardly believe it myself. It seems like it was only yesterday that I was helping mom chase him around the house once he finally learned how to walk. He’s just growing so fast.” As I said that, I felt my smile become slightly sad and my eyes started to water. I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly looked behind me and saw Bill giving me an understanding smile, which caused me to smile in return.
