I'm now re-watching CW's Flash while writing and I realized fairly recently that the police chief is gay and said, "Huh. Neat."

Jaune: So, Weiss, y'know, uh, I-I was thinking after this, maybe we could go grab a bite to eat? And, um, I've got two tickets to that new Spruce Willis movie, if you wanna make the trip to Vale. I hear it's awesome. And maybe after that, we could study together? I mean, you're smart and I'm, uh... Y'know.

As the bell rang to signal the end of class

Port: Oh, I guess I timed that wrong. Well, we will continue this another time. Class dismissed.

Weiss starts to put her stuff away

Jaune: Weiss? D-did you hear me?

Weiss starts walking away

Weiss: No, no, no, yes.

We were in our room preparing for our little adventure.

Blake: I really thought that class would never end.

Ruby: Alright team RWBY, today's the day we start our investigation!

She then chooses to jump off her bed and nearly lands on Weiss

Sarcastically Weiss: I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously.

Yang: Hey, we have a plan. And it's moderately

(Y/n): That's more serious than usual.

Ruby: Right! Everyone remember their roles?

Weiss: You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem.

Blake: The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning.

Yang: I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard.

(Y/n): And I'm to act as backup for whoever needs it. But I'd prefer if I went with someone instead of being on the sidelines.

Yang: Aww, is that your way of saying you want to spend time with me?

(Y/n) starts blushing

(Y/n): No, I just don't like being idle.

Blake: Will you two quit flirting?

Ruby: We'll meet up tonight near Yang and go over whatever we find. Let's go!

A voice comes from outside the window

Sun: Yeah!

Sun finally enters through the window

Surprised Blake: Sun!

Yang: How did you get up there?

Sun: Ah, it's easy; I do it all the time.

Weiss: You do what?!

Sun: I climb trees all the time! So, are we finally getting back at that Torchwick guy?

Blake: We are going to investigate the situation. As a team.

Ruby: Sorry, Sun. We don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to.

Sun: Psh! That's dumb! We should always get friends involved! That's why I brought Neptune!

He gestures out the window where Neptune is standing precariously on the edge.

Neptune: 'Sup?

Ruby: How did you even get up here?

Neptune: I have my ways. Now can I come in? This is like, really high up right now.

Sun helps him in as Ruby starts talking again

Ruby: Alright, I'll go with Weiss; Sun, you can go with Blake. And Neptune, you can--

(Y/n): Act as backup. And I'll be Yang's partner.

Ruby: That works.

Weiss: Actually Ruby, maybe you should be the backup. You're the leader after all.

Ruby: Then who would go with you?

Weiss: I guess Neptune can go with me.

Ruby takes a moment to think.

Ruby: Haha, nah.

Ruby grabs Weiss' hand and rushes out the door.

Yang: So you really did want to be with me.

(Y/n): Quiet you. You're you're probably going to start trouble so you should have someone on your team to have your back.

Yang: Suuure...

(Y/n): Let's just go.

Ruby: Woooow! I forget how big the Transmit tower looks up close!

Weiss: You should see the one in Atlas.

Ruby: That was the first one, right?

Weiss: Correct.

Ruby: Mockingly Oooh, look at me! My name's Weiss! I know facts! I'm rich!

She snorts an her impression

Weiss: Don't be a pest! Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much! We could have just as easily made a call from the library!

Ruby: I know, but it's so coool! Ooh, I'm going to take a picture!

She tries to pull out her scroll but accidentally throws it out of her hands.

Penny: Oh! She picks it up You dropped this.

Ruby: Penny?!

Penny: Uhh...

Ruby: Where have you been? We haven't seen you since the fight at the docks!

Penny: S-Sorry. I think you're confused.

She suddenly hiccups and throws the scroll into Ruby's hands.

Penny: Uh... I've got to go!

She turns quickly and walks away.

Weiss: What was that about?

Ruby: I don't know, but I'm going to find out.

Ruby starts walking in the same direction as Penny left and shouts back to Weiss.

Ruby: You go make your call! I'll meet up with you later!

Weiss: Wait!

I'm sorry but I will probably be cutting back on scenes that don't have (Y/n). I just find it painfully tedious to do those scenes. I'll most likely summarize the parts I skip.
