It's the midst of June. The sky was shining a clear blue and the sun was beaming on your skin. There was a cool breeze every once in a while, which calmed you down as you were sitting outside in your backyard.

You were sitting near your pool, letting the sun hit your skin as you tanned in your chair. You took a deep breathe and exhaled slowly, as if you were savoring your breath in that very moment. You smiled softly to yourself as you continued to inhale the freshness of summer. You were interrupted by a sudden splash of water at your feet. You flinch and open your eyes. You open them to see a child-like Seungkwan playing in your pool, splashing the water around as he was doing backflips and handstands in the water like he was an Olympic swimmer.

Y/N: Seungkwan~ *you whined* You just ruined my relaxation time.

Seungkwan: Oh, s-sorry...

Seungkwan was flustered by your sudden words. You get up from your chair and walk over to the pool and sit near the edge and just watch Seungkwan. He's in his own world, having the best time of his life. You just scoff and smile at him.

Y/N: *mumbles* Show off...

Seungkwan: *turns to face you* Oh? Can you do it any better? I'm the champ.

Y/N: Oh yeah? We'll see- ...

Before you could finish your last sentence, Seungkwan grabs your wrist and pulls you into the water with him. You didn't know what to do, so you started splashing water in his face, and soon, he did the same back to you. You both did backstrokes in the pool and just let your bodies glide in the water.

You and Seungkwan have been best friends since Elementary School and you both were about to enter senior year of high school once summer ends. He has always been there for you through thick and thin. He's never left your side and you admire everything about him. You couldn't have asked for a better friend. He never failed to make you laugh. He was always the one who made you smile brighter than the sun. You two were inseparable.

After you and Seungkwan were in the pool, you wash up and throw on some fresh clothes and brush your hair. You decided to put on black sweatpants and your star designed sports bra and walk into the living room, where you see a sleepy Seungkwan dozing off on your couch. You wanted to let him sleep, but you thought it was funnier to disrupt him, as he did to you earlier. You run over to him and jump on top of him, then lay your head on his lap. Seungkwan is surprised at your sudden actions and flinches when he feels your touch. He hesitates, but he begins to play with your hair, causing you to be just as sleepy as him.

Seungkwan: Y/N... *he calls your name sleepily* I was just getting comfortable ...

Y/N: *you chuckle* Well- that's what you get for interrupting my relaxation time.

Seungkwan: *sighs* I guess that's fair.

There was a small moment of silence, until Seungkwan broke through it.

Seungkwan: Y-Y/N ...?

Y/N: Hm?
