Morning : 8:00am
Yuri pov

I woke up in my bed, feeling groggy. Reality snapped back as I noticed myself lying there. Beside me was Hoshi, which got me wondering - did he carry me here? Or maybe a maid did?

But then I realized something even more puzzling. Why was he sleeping here? We didn't do anything, right? I thought to myself, my thoughts racing as I stared at him.

"I know I'm handsome, but do you have to stare at me like that?" he said, breaking my daze.

"Um, what? I wasn't looking at you," I blurted, my face growing warm.

"Whatever you say, Princess~," he teased.

"I have a name, you know! It's Yuri, not Princess!"

"But it's awkward for me to say your name when you're my girlfriend," he pouted, which was surprisingly cute.

"W-what? I thought it was just pretend?" I stammered.

"Maybe," he said, then quickly left.

I was left bewildered, trying to make sense of his words. What did he mean by "maybe"? My mind was still spinning when a knock came at the door.

"Come in!" I called out.

"Breakfast is ready, Ms. Yuri," one of the maids said, her smile warm.

"Oh, I'll be right there! And just call me Yuri," I replied.

"Sure thing, Yuri," she said.

"And what's your name?" I asked.

"Oh, um... Sana is my name," she answered.

"It's nice to meet you, Sana! Let's be friends here," I said, offering a friendly smile.

"Really? No one usually wants to be friends with me... I'm kind of a loner," she admitted.

"Don't worry! We can be friends. From now on, we're best friends, okay? You won't be alone anymore," I assured her.

"Thank you so much, Ms. - I mean, Yuri!" Sana beamed.

"Glad to have a friend here. At least I won't be surrounded only by mafia guys, right?" I mused.

-15 minutes later-

After a quick shower, I slipped into my favorite comfy hoodie, a denim skirt, and black boots. Downstairs, I found them already eating, and the spread looked amazing. I sat down and hungrily dug in, not really caring about the quiet atmosphere.

"Wow, noona, you sure eat a lot," Dino remarked.

"Do you always eat this much? It's like you could finish the whole table right now," Jun chuckled.

The rest laughed along.

"Ah, that was a satisfying breakfast!" I declared.

Feeling a bit sleepy after the meal, I stood up and was about to leave when Hoshi gently held onto my hand.

"You're getting training today," he informed me with a hint of seriousness.

"Training? What for?"

"You need to learn how to defend yourself in dangerous situations," he explained.

I rolled my eyes internally. Defending myself wasn't too hard, right? But then again, it had been a while since I last practiced.

"Okay, will it be easy?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Who said it would be easy? I'm going to push you," Jun chimed in.

Of course, it had to be Jun. Just my luck.
