"Wangji, Xichen, wait here by the porch of this Inn. I will be back in ten minutes. Do not go anywhere, today it is highly crowded in the market. Xichen, keep hold Wangji's hand." Lan Qiren told both of his four year old and ten year old nephews.

Lan Qiren had brought both of his nephew's to the market today. It was the day the two boys visited their mother in the forbidden Gentian House, but Madam Lan was sick, and Lan Qiren couldn't let the fever be passed on to the younger kids. So to distract them, he brought them to Yiling when he had a meeting with the chief of the town.

The two boys obediently bowed  to their uncle as the elder went inside the inn for the said meeting.

Lan Xichen held his Di-Di's hand, seeing the dangerous heavy crowd passing by. Little Lan Wangji just stood beside his brother, the market being a fascinating place for him.

There were so many colourful things! There were many lanterns set on display. So many food items, most of which Lan Wangji had never seen before. There were also many shops selling different toys. His eye, sharp as a child, caught on a small wooden bunny.

It was small, and cute, and dyed in white. He shouldn't have been so engrossed in staringat the toy, beacuse he didn't realise when his hand had left from his Da-Da and when he had entered in between of the congested crowd.

He blinked twice, now understanding that he was not on the same place where he was a minute ago. He is not panicking though. He is just merely confused of what is he supposed to do and where is he supposed to go.

He is slightly pushed here and there by people who wouldn't notice such a small child. So, to avoid getting tugged on again and again, he finds a way to the bank of the street where he can at least stand and wait peacefully.
