-Months Later-

1:53 A.M.

I sat beside my window in my blue bean bag, it was raining, my favorite type of weather. I enjoy rain because it allows me to think, especially at night. This night though, my thoughts were focused on only one thing, Julianne.

"Now that I think about it, a lot has happened between me and Julianne. We had started to begin to be really good friends, like best friends. We talk everyday, either through Discord or school, or even both. We walk to our classes together, we laugh together, we smile together, we do everything together. It makes me full with excitement and full of happy emotions, especially the day when we both sneaked out of our houses to go get McDonalds together at midnight. But, even with all those treasured memories, our relationship doesn't feel complete as best friends, it's like I want more, but, I'm not sure if I can achieve what I want."

I decided to read a little bit, as raining weather is my favorite type of weather to read books in. I grabbed the book that was besides me, the 6th book of Harry Potter and opened to the page the bookmark was located in, page 501. Time passed, and slowly, the world around me turned blurry till it was completely pitch black.

It was a sunny day, clear blue skies, and around the time for summer to begin. As any normal day, I was at the school, wearing my uniform just like all the other students. I walked into the school, talked with Marco who is always early to school, and entered spill-out with him. Then, more people started to arrive, such as Shannon and Nicholas. As always, I chatted with them until it was 9:05 A.M., which the security guard whistled, dismissing us to go to our 2nd period classes, because today was 2,4,6 or B day. 2nd period, which was science was the usual, take notes, do a worksheet on teams and turn it in. Today's science notes and worksheets was about the human body systems, or more specifically the immune system, which was so boring. I finished my worksheet early and just spent my time chatting with Julianne on Discord Dms, ranking how nice everyone in this class is from top tier to lowest tier.

Ding-Ding

"That's the bell for 4th period." I stormed out of the class, trying to reach the class before Marco, Shannon, and Nicholas get there because we were made a challenge on whoever gets to 4th period first gets five dollars from the people who lost. Surprisingly, I won and I got $15 dollars, but Ms. Rodriguez had been a bit upset that we were running in the walls and stomping really loud on the ground to reach the class, disturbing students and teachers around the school. Anyways, everyone started to get to class, and once the last person entered the class, which was a kid named Emanuel, we headed to lunch, For lunch, I don't bring anything to eat, so I eat school lunch instead, but may I mention, it taste horrible. Yet, when I was trying to eat my lunch, I didn't taste like anything. I was assuming that it was either my taste buds or that the food was simply so bland and dry that it had no taste. "That's weird.." I stood up from my seat and threw away my food, and walked out to the spillout. I was going to talk with the boys, but I noticed that Julianne was sitting alone, in a bench. She looked to be in complete despair, as if something tragic. I'm not sure why, but my body randomly walked up toward her and said "Hola!" and sat right next to her. She looked at me, both of our eyes linked together, and at that very moment, I felt my mouth move without me controlling it, about to say something when,

I opened my eyes, and around me was my room. "Was that a dream the entire time- It felt so real, like it had actually happened.." I turned over to my alarm and noticed that it was 7:47 A.M., 23 minutes before my alarm was supposed to sound, which I'm glad it didn't, because I hate the sound the alarm makes. I decided to stay in bed a little longer, especially because I didn't have enough energy to even get up from my bed. Lying down, I stared above at the roof with one question in my mind, "What was I going to tell Julianne?.. Was it something bad, something embarrassing, scary, cheerful, sad, funny? No, it couldn't be any of those, and that leaves the last option, something romantic. There's no way I was going to tell Julianne something romantic though, right? It can't be right, it's probably something else, but I feel like it was something sincerely romantic, and my heart seemed to agree with that statement." My heart beated faster and faster every second that I thought of what romantic thing I could of been telling Julianne.

I got up from my bed, did the usual, like eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, packing my bookbag, and getting dressed. I walked outside to my porch, where my mom had been waiting for me already in the car to go outside so we can go to school. As she drove, everything my eyes met was just lines moving at an insane speed, everything completely blurry. We finally arrived at the school after a 8 minute drive, and I got out the car. My surroundings looked familiar, like the cars that were there, the students that were walking into the school, and even he weather, sunny and clear skies. I walked into the school where I encountered Marco and we chatted, entered spillout together, and kept chatting. I felt like all of this had happened before, but I don't quite remember why, or when, or where, or what, or how. Shannon and Nicholas arrived around 5 minutes and at 9:05 the security guard blew the whistle, and everyone walked to their 2nd period.

I entered the class and sat down, and we were doing notes. "These notes look really familiar, like I had already did them.." After completing notes about the immune system, we had to do an worksheet on teams about the immune system which I finished early, and talked with Julianne on Discord. "This entire day seems so familiar, but I don't remember where I've experienced this before." After the bell rung, we all rushed to our 4th period, and I arrived to 4th period before Shannon, Marco, and Nicholas, because we had a challenge of who can get there first. I earned a good $15 from winning the challenge. Then it was lunch time, and I ate school lunch, yet like everything else today, this school lunch looks familiar. I ate it and it tasted like garbage, like any school lunch.

I entered spillout and I was going to talk with the boys at the large oak tree, but instead my eyes got caught on Julianne. She was sitting on a bench, all alone. I don't know why, but inside me, it saddened me too see her alone like this, with no one to talk too. I approached her, and with every footstep I made, I felt my heart beating faster and faster. "Hola!" I said, and her beautiful brown eyes made contact with my eyes, like a special connection had just been made. I sat down beside her on the bench and at that moment, everything came back to me. "The dream, I'm living the dream." "Gilbert- are you okay?" said Julianne. "Julianne there's something important I have to tell you,

I like you.

My heart felt like it was going to exploded when I said that, and I patiently waited for her answer. I noticed that her face was completely red, and she started to speak. I was so nervous, it was like I didn't even want to hear what she had to say because I believed it was going to be her not liking me, but instead, I heard "I don't want to turn this friendship into something awkward and if we do date I don't want it to become weird when we break up but... I also do like you back. I've actually liked you since the day I saw you on the first day of school."

All of the sudden, she leaned closer to me, and so did I, until her soft pink lips touched with mine, the best feeling in the world. My vision was completely filled with everything in shades of pink and red, and I had achieved what I wanted,
