Chapter 5

(Y/n)'s POV

The bus driver was driving us to the Cathedral, while me, Leon, and Helena are looking at Leon's communicator and we hear Hunnigan was talking to us, "...90% of the population in Tall Oaks has been infected with the virus. That rounds out to about 70,000 hostiles. We also received word that an organization named 'Neo-Umbrella' just claimed responsibility for the attack." Hunnigan said to us. Me and Leon looked away from the communicator with a angry look on our faces.

Leon was still mad at Neo-Umbrella that injected me, when I was staying at the hospital after I gave birth to Ellis. I was angry as well because now I am stuck with a virus in my body and I didn't want to have the virus in my body, but here I am, alive and well but of course I don't know what effects I have in my body now because of the virus that is inside of me. Leon grabbed my hand and he squeeze it a bit before I heard him mumbled a bit, "Neo-Umbrella?" Leon mumbled under his breath.

Me and Helena heard Leon, so has Hunnigan because she was talking to me and Leon, "I know what you two are thinking." Hunnigan said to us. I was still remembering of how Neo-Umbrella messed up Raccoon City, my hometown and the place that I grew up in. Leon looks at me before he has a relax face to tell me, that I should keep my cool, so I relaxed a bit before we looked back at Hunnigan before we tell her a 'yeah' before Leon started talking to Hunnigan, "This is Raccoon City all over again." Leon said to Hunnigan.

I nod my head at this before I started talking to both Leon and Hunnigan, "He's right, we can't let this happen again, a lot of people are dying because of them." I said to Hunnigan. Hunnigan looks at us before she tells us, "That's all the news I've got. Now it's your turn to help me. I need to know what's in that cathedral. I've got suit's breathing down my neck for info." Hunnigan said to us. Me and Leon looked at each other before we asked Hunnigan, "Suits?" Me and Leon asked Hunnigan with a kinda confused tone. Hunnigan started talking to all of us again, "Specifically, Derek C. Simmons—" Hunnigan said to us.

I noticed Helena move her head at the communicator with a pissed off look, 'I wonder why Helena? Move her head real fast when Hunnigan mentioned Simmons name?' I asked myself in my head. Hunnigan tells us that Derek C. Simmons is the National Security Advisor, I kept thinking in my head. The bus driver was still driving in the rain but we heard his voice was talking to us, "Hang on!" The bus driver said to us. Me, Leon, and Helena looked up and we see a zombie was walking on the road before it looked at us before the bus driver ran over it.

But this cause the bus to stumble a bit and of course the bus driver was losing a bit out of control of the bus and of course me, Leon, and Helena fell down on the bus. I felt arms wrapped around me, I looked at the person that was holding me in a protective way. Leon was making sure that I don't get hurt, I just gave Leon a kiss on his lips for a second before we looked to see Helena was kinda in a sleeping position but we heard a woman scream in fear and of course I remember that the woman and the police officer were here on this bus as well.

Leon unwrap his arms away from me before I started to get up a bit before I stick my hand out to my husband before we looked at both the woman and police officer were being grabbed by zombies. I was going to get my gun out, but there was there was other movement of the bus again that it was started to stumble a bit again.  This makes me and Leon fall down on the bus floor and of course Helena started to move her head up and that's when we noticed zombies were started walking towards to us, "Ah, shit!" Leon yelled out.  The three of us pulled out our guns and we started shooting at the zombies, "Back off!" "Get the hell away from us!" Me and Helena yelled out in fear and kinda anger as well.

Leon was busy shooting the zombie that he didn't notice that there was another zombie that was coming close to him, so I reloaded my gun quick and I pointed my gun at the zombie that was getting close to my husband.  Once I got killed the zombie, Leon looked at me before he gave me a quick 'thanks' before the bus kept moving again, "We're going over!" Helena yelled at us.  The bus was moving like it was tipping over, "Brace yourself's!" Leon yelled at us.  Me and Helena just agreed with Leon before we started to scoot away from the zombie's before we started to fire our guns again to kill the zombies.
