Minutes before getting to the treehouse
Pumps POV
We got to the treehouse I climbed the ladder I got up first so I did the spooky dance 💃
Skid made it to the top and we started to talk chat laugh, and eat!, hours were going by until I heard a call from my mother
Pumps mom: "Sweetie! Dinner's ready!"
Pump: "ok! Coming!"
Skid: "I should go home to see you tomorrow?"
Pump: "sure! Love you bye!—"
I stopped in my tracks and realized what I said skid looked at me and I was turning a dark pink under my mask
Pump: "I-I-I m-mean bye" I climbed down the ladder jumping from the 2TH step at the bottom and running inside shutting the door,
Skids POV
Wait did he just say that on accident Or did he mean it? I was so confused I ran back home it was a pretty long walk, I was still questioning what he meant
Skid: "love you...."
It sounded right I don't know why! I opened the door to my house and went to mom to talk
Third POV
skid: "Mom?"
Lila: "hm? whats wrong?"
Skid: "uh..." i didn't know how to say
So he just explained everything ALL in one

Lila: "skid- calm down"
Lila chuckled a bit from his reaction of panic
Lila: "you have a crush hunny!"
Skid got a bit confused, crush his best friend? No it had to be a mistake...right?

Skid looked down wondering but..he could feel the same way too
Skid: "hmmm..thanks mom!"
Skid ran to his room to message pump
He grabbed his phone and jumped on the bed
Skiddy💀: "hey pump!"
Pumpkin🎃 : "oh uh hi skid! What's up?"
Skiddy 💀: "what do you wanna do tomorrow?!"
Pumpkin 🎃: "idk! Hmmmm wanna go to the park?"
