chapter three

"hi, what can i get for you" the barista asked

"can i have an iced americano, take away please" i handed her my reusable coffee cup and my card.

"it'll be ready in a minute" she smiled and gestured me to sit down

I grabbed my bag and sat down on one of the chairs. Looking out of the window. Sometimes i wonder how dad is doing. Does he miss us? does he miss me? does he even care? maybe he is married to someone else now. Maybe he is-

"your coffee is ready miss" the barista said handing me the coffee cup, getting me out of the intriguing thoughts that keep me up and night maybe one to many times. 

"Thank you" i said before grabbing my bag en walking out of the place, clutching my bag against me.

I walked to the bus stop near and waited for the bus to college. I looked at a couple walking down the street comfortably in each other's embrace, making everyone around stop for a second to appreciate the young love.

The bus came a little later, driving through a splash of water. The water went straight to the pedestrian path and with a blink of your eyes, they were soaked. I chuckled at the view, it reminding me of one of the dramas i watched. They just started laughing really hard 

how cliché 

i got into the bus since i didn't want to waste more time looking at them.

at campus i only had a few things i had to sign up for, so after doing that i could already leave. Luckily Woo and San were already done so they were on their way to pick me up. I walked through campus observing my surroundings to find out where i could find everything. Then i saw a oddly familiar face.

''seonghwa?''

he locked eyes with mine and smiled, like he did last time too

''you, again'' he chuckled

''you go here?'' i asked

''i do, seems like you do too'' he said

he looked even better today. his black locks falling down loosely and looking like the ultimate college crush. his perfect smile making every girl that walked by distracted. 

''are you already done?'' i asked

''Yeah'' he said gesturing me to walk with him ''are you heading to the bus stop?'' he asked

''no, my friends are picking me up'' i said ''so did you transfer here, or is this your first year'' i gestured to him to walk with me

''i transferred from south, i'm a junior, and you'' he said looking at me. he was tall so he had to look down slightly.

''freshman'' i said chuckling

''so you're 20 right?  i'm 22'' he said wiggling his eyebrows

''yeah yeah you are the older one'' i said and we both laughed. the sound of San's car was heard as he speeded up to the entry of campus. Woo opened his window and waved like they were picking up their child from kindergarten.

''well, my ride is here'' i said sighing in embarrassment 

''have fun with your friends, i'll see you'' he said smiling and waving me goodbye
