To say you were stunned was a great understatement. Yours e/c orbs darted from place to place. The sight of so many other humans was overwhelming. And you thought the group that brought you back to the 'walls' was large..
The group, which you learned were called the Scouts, brought you back, following a long trail, other people lining along the sides. Some looked hopeful and excited yet there were those who looked angry or sorrowful. Shouts and yells, negative one and positive ones mixing into gibberish as they enter their ears. You let out a quiet whimper and curled themselves up into a ball whilst holding their ears to try and block out the noise. You had gotten used to the mostly silent forest sounds, with the occasional loud noise of giants or calls of animals.
You shivered and pulled your hood over tightly, just wanting to hide from the sudden change around them. Why did you agree to come? Yes it was safer here but at least it wasn't crowded in the forest. As you continued to go, the crowd slowly dissipated, yet you hadn't noticed as you had your eyes squeezed shut. Little did you know, a small figure had noticed their frantic movements and trotted their horse closer to them.
The small one on the horse lightly tapped the hooded one's shoulder. In a state of panic, you jumped and spun around, hood falling off of your head as you pointed a silver dagger at the other's throat. The girl on the horse yelped and pulled her horse back a bit. Said girl had flowing, blonde hair and bright blue eyes which were now filled with shock and a bit of fear.
Everyone around them stopped and tensed, staring at the pair. Those closer to the two could see the solemn expression that the h/c had. Yet your shaking body and fear filled eyes betrayed your 'tough' façade.
The blonde one slowly approached them again as they lowered their shaking arms. "H-hey.. You'll be ok. I'm sorry this was such a sudden change for y-you.."
The girl spoke softly, as if talking to a wild animal. You calmed slightly, sitting back down as they cast their gaze downwards. "Sorry.." you replied softly.
"It's alright," the girl smiled softly and placed a small hand on your head, patting it gently. You hummed at the girl's actions, but before anything else could happen , another horse raced over. On the horse was another girl, quite a bit taller than the one before with short brown hair and light hazel eyes.
This one didn't have the patience to deal with them, and she showed it just as much. She shoved you backwards and glared daggers into your skull. The brunette quickly turned to the blonde one. "Stay away from that outsider bastard, Krista."
The blonde yelped at her actions and puffed her cheeks at the brunette. "Hey! They were just scared! Don't be so mean, Ymir," she replied, causing the hazel eyed one to roll their eyes and fold their arms.
Krista turned to you and sighed. "Sorry about her. Are you ok?"
You nodded glumly in reply and apologized quietly a few more times. You kneeled on the floor of the carriage facing a corner before placing your head down on it, sulking. It was actually quite cute. Krista giggled at the sight before turning her attention ahead.
Before long, you had arrived at Headquarters. There was a field in the middle of it all. A forest surrounding the perimeter. Near the far left, there was a large, castle-like building that probably housed the group where they learned they were called Scouts. There was also another building close to it which housed the horses.
