"Cora Wilson, get down here!" I hear my aunt yell from downstairs.

"I'm coming!" I shouted before picking up my bag and hurrying downstairs in a rush.

"Good morning sweetie, how are you feeling?" My aunt, Elizabeth, asks.

"Good morning, I'm good just in a rush. How are you?" I reply politely even though I've been living with her since I was about 10 years old. We chatter for a bit before I get a text from my boyfriend, indicating that he's waiting for me outside to drive me to school.

"Bye, El!" I shout before closing the doors and walking down the drive-way towards Clay's car.

"Hi, babe" I greet him before leaning in and kissing his cheek.

"Hey, how was your morning?" He asks me as I buckle my seatbelt and he drives off

"I woke up late so it was eh" I shrug and turn to look at his side profile, this man has a good side profile not going to lie.

The rest of the drive was us blasting music and singing along, getting into a good mood before school.

I zone out and the next this I feel is the door of the car opening, I smile at my boyfriend, thanking him in silence before stepping out and walking hand in hand with him to the front door.

I looked at Clay before looking back ahead and I nearly gagged at the sight I saw, Aster as usual eating some girls' face. The worst part? On my locker! I shake my head and laugh at them before letting go of Clay's hand and heading toward my locker.

"Get a room before you spread the std's" I shove Aster away from my locker and open it.

"You're just jealous" the blonde scoffs.

"Of who? You? Oh, get over yourself not even a homeless person would be jealous of someone like you" I roll my eyes, picking up the books that I'll need for my upcoming classes. The blond-haired girl let's a shriek scream before stomping away like a child, actually stomping.

"Since when are you silent" I ask Aster who is still standing by my locker.

"Shut up, Cora" He speaks up before rolling his eyes and walking away, what the hell?

I push away the weird feeling and close my locker before heading to class.

"Coraaaa" my friend Avery exclaims.

"What" I groan. It's the last lesson of the day and I am completely exhausted.

"Have you seen Cassie?" she asks

"No, why?"

"Well, there's this party and we-" I cut her off "No"

"I didn't even finish!" She whines

"I knew you were going to ask me to go so I'm answering now... No" I smile at her and the bell rings. Finally, I get to go home.

She tries to get me to go to the party a few more times as we're walking but I decline each time until we reach Clay's car.

"What's the fuss about?" He asks.

"Me and Cassie are trying to get her to come to the party" Avery explains to him.

"Babe, please. I'm going to be there, Avery and Cassie too" He begs.

"You know the reason why I don't go to parties" I sigh but eventually after a few more times of convincing while also Cassie appeared, I caved in.

We finally arrive at my house and I once more thank Clay for the ride since my car is currently in repair. I kick off my shoes before heading towards the living room where I find my cousin Greyson on the couch, playing video games.

"Hey, what's up" He greets me as soon as he notices my presence

"Hi" I reply softly, taking a seat next to him.

"You're quiet" he states.

"I'm going to a party tomorrow night" I sigh and look down at my fingers while playing with my rings.

"Who are you and what did you do to my cousin?" he exclaims with a grin on his face.

"No clue" We break into a laughter before Elizabeth comes back from work.

"What are you children laughing about" She teases.

"Can I go to a party, tomorrow night?" I ask shyly.

She drops her bag on the floor, her mouth shaped in an 'o' "Of course!" she rushes towards me; squeezing be into a hug.

"If only you were acting the same when I ask that" Grey mumbles shaking his head.

"Oh shush, she's too good for her own kind so she deserves to live a little" I laugh and talk to them more before excusing myself and dragging my feet up the stairs to my bedroom.

Greyson might look tough near others but on the inside he's a softie, ever since my parent's death, my aunt and uncle raised me as my own and I couldn't ask for a better family.

I plopped down onto my bed after I finished getting ready for bed and drifting off into a deep slumber.

First chapter is uuuup, it probably sucks and I'll realise that when I edit it in the future but for now it is what it is
