Better Not Told

hi

I have nothing to say-

Killua's mouth opened. He asked a question I had no idea how to answer, it put me in a state of shock and confusion. My body frozen in time, with my heart running a marathon.

"A few years ago, I met up with 3 of my friends. That was the last time I saw them together due to your father attempting to kill all 3 of them while I was with them. Why did he do that? And don't joke with me this time, idiot."

I was stuck staring, I didn't know what to answer. I didn't know who his friends were at all, I just met him! And also, when did my father EVER mention to me a few years ago that he was going to do that? Was this a secret I was not to be told about? I think for a second. 'If I figure out who his friends are I may be able to answer him, but for now I just gotta say I'm not sure.'

I tried to think of an answer, but then rolled my eyes, knowing that this conversation would certainly lead to a brutal fight after this answer I would give Killua. "How the hell am I supposed to know?! I don't know your friends, and my father never told me of this!! Your next questions better not be meaningless." I yelled, hesitantly. I could see his eyes turning into black holes now.

"Meaningless? So the thing I've been pondering over for years, the question I have yet to find the answer for, is meaningless? Screw you!" He screamed. Nanika stood there blankly, signaling I had yet again told the truth that I hadn't known what he was talking about.

Killua sighed, it was a very deep one. "That'll be all, Nanika." Nanika walked up to me, slow and lifeless. She seemed as though she was a robot in a never-ending journey, step by step, movement by movement. That was until she stopped infront of me, and stuck her hand out, to which I shook it.

"'Kay." She muttered. She let go of her soft grip on my hand, and walked back to Killua. Who had seemingly turned back into Alluka in the process of walking over. "So, you intend no harm on my sister and I, and have no idea about that last question I asked you?" Killua said with a glare.

"Both are correct." I said with relief, knowing that he seemed to calm down a little more, although keeping his glare on me and protective stance with Alluka.

"Well I have to get going. Illumi doesn't like it when I'm late to come home. Here's my number, maybe we can talk more often if you really want to earn my trust, or really it's me earning your trust." I said with a snicker at the end. Killua raised an eyebrow, and rolled his eyes.

I wrote my number down on a note while his eyes rolled, and quickly vanished into thin air. I was able to get far away enough that I could calm down. 'I hope he took that note I left him.' I thought. I ventured back home awaiting some dumb complaint from father about some small mistake or problem he had.

I kept my hood over my head, and walked up the same path I took every time I went home. Nobody was at the gate at the time I came, so I stepped up quietly, getting the attention of our new gatekeeper/janitor. His name was Yoka, he replaced Zebro due to his death from a massive attack a year ago.

He seemed to pick up the phone as I heard a faint clicking noise coming from the small room Yoka was enclosed into. I could not hear what he was saying, because I was already at the point where I opened 2 of the testing gates, not wanting to waste my energy.

The adventurous walk took me past Canary, who I greeted with a smile. She waved her hand but kept her focus ahead making sure nobody followed me. As I stomped up the mountain to my home, I made my way inside.

The long, illuminated hallways looked the same every turn, step, and corner. I walked until I met face to face with dad. His same terrifying smirk glued to his face. I walk up calmly to him, explaining how everything went, but I skipped a key detail...when I bumped into Killua and Alluka.
