I panted, doubling over in exhaustion. The 'Mystery Cassanova' and I had been slaving in the boiling hot sun for hours now, cutting down branches on thick oak trees. I had been planning this whole time on how to escape, and now seemed like the perfect time. When he bent down to pick up the fallen branches, I kicked his back and sent him flying into the woods. He crash landed in the dirt. Ha! That serves him right for keeping me prisoner and make me do hard physical labor without feeding me. I sprinted off in the opposite direction of where he was still laying, wounded and his mouth probably full of dirt. I ran and ran until my chest heaved with every deep breath I took. Looking around to figure out where to go next, I realized something that made me face palm myself; I had forgotten my suitcase at the cottage. Great. Just great. I started to walk back, my head down in concentration, trying to figure out how to get in and out within ten minutes.

"I knew you'd come back to me little missy," a familiar voice crooned ad I stepped into the threshold of the quaint cottage. The boy was standing there, his shirt drenched in sweat and his arms crossed, giving me a look of dissaprovement.
"The tough guy act is getting old, don't you think?" I whispered sweetly in his ear, my lips turning up in the corners. He took a shaky intake of air, preparing himself for something that wasn't coming anytime soon. I jerked my knee up roughly, causing him to groan and fall to the floor, writhing in pain.
"Next time hot stuff," I said without a glance back, stepping over his body and walking self-confidently into my room, "you watch your back." I retrieved my suitcase and hopped through the window in my old room.
"Good bye D-Bag!" I called back gleefully as I pranced away from that little cabin in the woods.
