I ran over to the village. It was small, but I hoped to find things I needed. I also saw some sheep, which I killed and made a bed from their wool. I traded some bread and sticks for emeralds and tried to get some nice things, maybe even some ender pearls. The villagers look exactly like I imagined them to be and sound hilarious.
After a lot of trading, I was getting sick of the sight of sticks and bread. I decided it was time to go to the Nether. With my bucket ready, I searched for a lava pool.
When I found one, I made the portal and put some stuff in a chest I made nearby and built a little base. I was going through the portal the next day when the sun rises, but for now I wanted to take a break.
I looked into the distance, where I saw a big mountain next to a desert. I sighed. I do all of this... For what? Why am I even here? Am I forever stuck here? God, I hope not. What would happen if I stopped doing this? Stopped 'playing the game'? If I finish it, do I get sent into another game?
I waited for the sun to set as I hummed a song to calm my mind, it sounds familiar though I don't remember what it was from. I looked at the orb I got from the last 'place' I was, and closed my eyes to try and remember some things. The only memories I got were the ones I got from the orb, the memories of my friends.
"Come on, *****! We gotta finish this!"
"Yeah, I'll finish it in a minute, gotta grab a snack! Want anything?"
"Yeah, gimme some of dem popcorn, bro"
"One popcorn coming right up!"Was that... Me? And the other voice one of my friends? I smiled.
I'm going to continue. For them.
For my friends
...
I open my eyes again to see the sun had almost set. I get in my bed and sleep through the night. It felt surprisingly comfortable.
When the sun rised, I woke up again.
Time to go to the Nether.
