A night out

On to the café!

Once the young couple pulled up to the café, the day was just breaking into the night. Glimmering stars filled the sky bed but all what took up Korras attention was the cafés entrance. The entrance was beautifully painted to resemble a polar bear dog, just like Naga.

"I'm already liking this café!" Korra said with a grin. Asami giggled. But suddenly her tummy was gurgling.

"I hope they have macaroons!" Asami joked

"they better!" korra responded. The lovers entered the peculiar entrance and soon a welcoming sight befell on them. The walls of the café were all painted with all kids of animals including koalaotters, armadillo-lion, sky bisons, badgermoles and even dragons! Additionally, the room was packed with animal enthusiasts, and some even had costumes. Soon after a penguin-otter dressed waiter showed the the young adults to their table. The couple then scanned the menu. Even though the menu was short it did have a variety of animal themed goods.
"I think I'll have the sky bison frosted cookies and a shirshu lychee tea!" announced Korra
"Hmmm yeah I think I'll take a chocolate filled badger mole macaroon and a wolfbat green tea. As odd as that sounds" Asami said with a weird face.
"Well everything here is odd!" The blue eyed woman answered. While Asami was ordering the food, Korra was observing the roomthen a Pai Sho board caught her eye.
"Hey sweetie, do you want to play a game of Pai Sho, the winner gets a surprise!" The avatar exclaimed.
"And what should the surprise be?" The engineer said with a brow raised.
"It's not a surprise if I tell you"
"Fine then you're on!"
Korra then grabbed the board and placed it on the table. Korra was smiling at her girlfriends determined expression on her face.
"You know I was taught by the best Pai Sho player in the spirit and this world, it won't be easy beating me"Korra stated in a as a matter of fact tone.
The raven haired woman hollered,
"We'll see about that!"
The Pai Sho battle was so heated up the the ladies didn't even notice their food being served. They acted like little girls, throwing tantrums when ever they lost a tile. But then things were boiling when Asami and Korra reached their last tiles, Korra with her white lotus tile and Asami having the rose tile.
"Your move sweetie" Korra said with glee. Asami was stroking her chin in thought but then her eyes brightened.
"Sorry honey but you're gonna lose!" Asami laughed maniacally. She placed the tile strategically on the board right next to the Korras white lotus then smacked it away. Korra appeared gobsmacked.
"How...." Muttered the blue eyed woman.
"I guess it was just my luck, Now where is my prize? Asami asked
"Close your eyes honey bunch" Korra demanded. Asami did as she was told, while Korra took a bite of her cookie and started to walk over to Asami, she cupped the engineers face and smashed her lips with the heiress. Their faces were deep red and they both gasped when their lips departed. But both had a wide smile.
"Mmmm I think I like that cookie flavor, you wanna try my macaroon? Asami said with a smirk.
"I would love to!" Korra responded. The avatar then straddled her lovers lap, not even caring what is happening around them, just focused on her one and only. Asami crunched down a macaroon and began wrapping her arms around Korra's neck. The couple then kissed sweetly.
"I think I'm liking this flavor" Korra cooed
"Mmmm me too" Asami whispered.
Abruptly Korra pulled Asami closer to her into a hug and they just stayed in their embrace. The noises of the café were quiet to the couples ears and all they could hear was their own breathing. Until Asami broke the silence. "Hey sweetie.. Thanks for getting me out of the house.. I had a fun time"
"Anything for you my turtle duck" Korra replied while placing her forehead on her lover's.
"Now shall we leave leave this joint, I really need to go" Korra said anxiously.
"Ah honey you always had a small bladder" Asami chuckled
"Well I can't help it!" The avatar responded
"Fine fine let me just get the chocolate out of your nose" Asami said with a grin. With that the emerald eyed woman kissed the avatars nose and made their way to the polar bear dog exit.
