The Awakening

Myron Payne gasped for air as he suddenly awoke in a hospital. He looked around, and swung his arms to his right and left, ripping the tubes in his arms out. He panted, catching the air around him. He jumped off the bed, looking around. He slammed into the door, knocking it down. Thank God nobody was in the hospital. It looked abandoned. Myron dashed down the halls, ripping off his hospital gown, and slamming into another room, then rolling onto the ground. He slowly stood up, groaning as he did so. The room was dark, a small mannequin in front of him, holding a pair of jeans, a sneakers, and a red plaid shirt. He grabbed the clothes after smiling.

He walked out of the complex, looking up to see gigantic skyscrapers and people walking on the sidewalks. A man in diamond armor and a diamond sword walked past Myron. Myron quickly grabbed his shoulder. "Excuse me, sir. Where am I? Who are you?" Myron asked the strange looking man. "You're in New York. My name is Drex. I'm assuming you're new here?" He asked as a smile etched across his face, his hand coming forward for Myron to shake. "Yeah. My name's Myron. Where can I build a house?" He asked as he shook Drex's hand. "You don't even need to build one. You can just buy one. Here's some money since you're new." Drex said as he put a hand in his pocket and pulled out a couple thousand dollars. He transferred it to Myron's bank account, and Myron looked shocked. "Where'd the money go?!" He shouted surprised. "It transferred to your bank account. Visit the bank to access it." Drex said. "Now someone's asking me for help, admin duties. I'll see you later. If you need me just yell." Drex said as he suddenly disappeared. Myron shook his head and looked around, asking random people on the sidewalk if they know where the bank was.
