A girl around 14 years was sitting near the window sulking because she was mad at her parents. "Aaniya, are you still mad at us?" asked her mother. "Yes, you should have told me before, that dad was getting his transfer. Now I would never see my friends again," said she and looked out of the window. "I know you are mad but come on out," said her mother. Even though she didn't want to go out of her room, she did go out.

Aaniya couldn't believe what she saw. There were decorations and her friends were there. Her friends wanted to give her a farewell party so with her parents and they made this arrangement. "Sorry dear, the sooner I found out about it, I told you. And if you don't want to go, you and your mom can stay, I will go..." "No dad it's fine. I think I will be ok," said Aaniya and smiled at his father.

That day, she enjoyed the party a lot. She felt really happy that at least she can meet all her friends before parting with them. They promised her that they will message her once in a while. After two days, they went to the new city. She joined the school there.

It was her first day at the new school. She was very nervous. All were looking at her but no one talked to her. She didn't know where the class was but she looked everywhere. And after a lot of work, she was able to find her class. She moved slowly and was about to enter the class when a girl collided with her. They almost fell and Aaniya got really cross. Before the other girl could say a thing, she yelled, "Can't you be careful?" She realized what she said and with embarrassment, she ran out.

Aaniya got into the class only when the last bell rang. She was in the toilet until then. The girl who collided tried to talk but Aaniya avoided her. "Seema, come on here. I really need help here," said another girl to the girl who collided with Aaniya earlier.

Aaniya was sitting in the bench and there were two other girls but they didn't talk with her. She thought, "It must be that Seema girl who made others bad towards me... What am I thinking...? It's getting hard to be friends with anyone or should I say making friends." She was so confused.

At the lunch time, Aaniya went to the cafeteria and stood in the line. After getting the lunch, she went to a table and put the tray down on the table. And suddenly, someone spill juice on her skirt. She saw that it was none other than Seema. Aaniya didn't want to even hear what she has to say and left.

"Why is it so hard to be friends with her for you?" said Seema's friend to Seema. "Hey, you can't blame her. The first time, you accidently collided with me and I accidently collided with her. And just now, I tripped on the table leg when a girl pushed from behind..." said Seema shaking her head in disagreement. "But she should at least hear you out before lashing out. "Relax... I know she is a sweet girl. When the right time comes, she will be friends with us."

A week later, Aaniya was sitting on the bench out of the school because the school was not open yet. She was reading a book. She was so deep in the book that she didn't hear a car was coming her way and it was out of control. It was very close when she heard it and looked towards the car. She was petrified in shock.

At the last moment, someone pulled her out of there. Aaniya looked at the person. It was Seema. "You saved my life. Thank you but I can't understand. I was so mad at you and all..." said Aaniya confused and grateful. "Hey, it's ok. We never know what the other person goes through, right? And also you had a very bad impression of me," said Seema and told her what actually happen both the times.

Aaniya felt a bit guilty and said sorry to Seema. "Hey it's ok really," Seema said smiling. Just then, Aaniya saw that Seema's hand was bruised and they went to the school infirmary as the school was open now. There was a big crowd and the two girls had a hard time reaching the infirmary. Seema was patched up in no time. "I know it's hard to be friends with me but can we be friends?" asked Aaniya. "Yes," said Seema and smiled.
