Rachel's POV

So this is were I begin my story. My name is Rachel Mc'cleven and I'm 17 years old.
I go to Western Indiana High school with three very important people. Four if you count....you know what...I'll get to that part later but as I was saying there's Tyler the machine, Sky high and Rhys.
Tyler is probably giving someone's face pain ,he's a hockey player what do you expect, while sky is high as fuck. Sky smokes weed when she "can't handle things" and at the moment any little problem that she "supposedly can't handle" she'll pop out the leaves of happiness. Just last week her pencil snapped and as soon as the lesson finished she smoked two joints.

She didn't even share...

But then there's Rhys. Rhys has been my best friend since the day we met at preschool. He read the books for kids in elementary school and never interacted with any of the kids. That's when I thought of my amazing plan. It was amazing to me at the time as I was only 5, don't judge me.
So back to my amazing plan. I watched Rhys for days as he read his book. Then finally the day came when Rhys left his
book unattended to get himself a juice box.

I went straight for the kill and took the book shoving it in the tray where we kept fake money to do math.
I watched Rhys return to his seat to find no book . I walked up to the confused boy.

"Hey" I exclaimed with a smile from ear to ear.

"Hi" he responded ever so shy
He continued to rummage around through toys and other books in search of his book. I intently followed.

"What ya looking for?" Me playing dumb ha ain't I smart.

"Well I kept my book here" he began

"but I can't seem to find it" he slightly mumbled as he continued to look around.

"If I help you find it will you be my friend?" I asked in hope he would agree.

"Yeah sure" he said not really taking notice of what he signed himself up for, a whole lot of ME!!!

As he continued to look I snuck of for a minute to get back the book. I quickly placed it under the chair he had been sitting on previously and called him over.

"Hey Rhys is that your book" I called pointing at the book which laid under the plastic green chair.

He then looked back at the book in frustration and looked back at the toy and continued rummage. He then looked back in realization.

"How'd it get down there" he said looking at the book in a somewhat of a concerned look.

"You promised" I said proudly

"promised what Ooo yeah" he remembered.

"Sure" he stated not very confident

"What's your name" he continued.

"Rachel, Rachel Mc'cleven your new best friend" I announced.

And that was how me and Rhys came to be.
