He stops in his tracks and stares at me, his eyes never leaving mine as I stare into his eyes.

His eyes that I once thought would be my happy place, my safe place, his eyes that I once thought would have a love for me for the rest of my life. But now I see nothing. I loved his eyes the most.

He closes his eyes and lets out a frustrated sigh and gets out of the room leaving me dumbfounded, I sigh as I make my way towards the bed and tuck myself in between the sheets. 'What's done is done there's no going back now, I can't live my life the way others want me to... now it depends on him if he wants to have a normal happy relationship or he has to let me go I cant deal with it anymore.' I close my eyes as I drift off to sleep.

Author POV

Taehyung sits in his office with his headrest on his chair with his eyes close as he is in deep thought about what Y/n said a week ago, no matter what he did it just did get out of his head. He groans as his phone rings, he picks up his phone and walks towards the window showing off the perfect sunset view of the city as he answers his phone.

"Sir Mr. Oh is throwing a party as he will be handing over his son, he has invited you and Mrs.Kim."

"We will be there." He loosens his tie as he sits back on his chair remembering the last encounter between his wife and Sehun his blood boils at the scene of them dancing together. He cants even skip the party as Mr. Oh has been a very important business partner to him. He sighs as he dials a number and rests his head back.

"He can you deliver an even dress for my wife and a suit for me to my home.... send me the bill later."

Remembering her he recalls what she said to him a few days ago making his chest tighten at the thought. He drowns himself into his work so that his mind does wander off again.
On the other hand, he didn't want to divorce her, he had never thought of divorcing her. But her asking for a divorce made him sad, it infuriated him that she didn't want to be with him, it infuriated him that one day she might move on and be with another man, it infuriated him that she wanted him to leave.

Y/n POV

It's been a week since I asked for a divorce and Taehyung has been avoiding me since then, I tried to talk to him multiple times but he would be busy with work or on a phone with someone.

No matter how hard I try to hate him I just can't seem to hate him... I love him so much that all his imperfections are perfection to me, I don't know why he's acting this way but I want to know why what changed between us to make him all cold and stoic.

I vividly remember the day he confessed to me, the way he kissed me with so much passion and love. The adrenaline rush he gave me with his words and his romantic gestures, the butterflies that I felt every time he looked at me but now there's nothing I can do to bring back the old Him,

I don't even know if was pretending or he ever loved me.

I wonder if seeing me suffer makes him feel ecstatic, I didn't care before but know I do... I won't let him ruin me more, for the first time in my life I will stand for myself I won't let others oppress me all my life.

Even if means to leave them behind, I will.

A knock on the door gets me out of my thoughts,

"Mrs. Kim, Sir sent these for you and said that you should be ready by 8:00 pm as you are going to attend a business meeting with him tonight."

So now he remembers that he has a wife, I bet he's going to forget her as soon as he sees his girlfriend.

If this time he chooses her over me then it's the end~

Little did they know what was coming for them would change their lives forever,
Will leave them with nothing but broken hearts and regrets.
Only if he wasn't blinded by His Vengeance...
