An hour later, Tommy ended the stream. Dream had said goodbye to the viewers, but still wished he was streaming. A feeling of loneliness clouded his happiness. He felt happiest when he wasn't alone. He felt happiest when he was on stream. He felt happiest when he was connected to the community that he had created.

The blonde and Tommy sat in silence. The second Tommy ended it, there was nothing to talk about. The mood completely changed.

"Sorry Dream. I got to go. Homework. Bye!"

"Bye Tommy," Dream said into his mic. Tommy left the vc and the server. He was alone again.

Reluctantly, Dream left the server and shut his computer off.

His first thought was to talk to George. He always knew what to say. Dream called and facetimed the brunette repeatedly, but got no response. Instead, Dream texted Sapnap.

"Hey sapnap?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you facetime?"

"Sure"

Dream started the facetime and Sapnap picked up immediately.

"Heyyy," Sapnap exclaimed. A smile spread across his face.

"Hi!" Dream replied, returning the smile. Sapnap was laying in his bed with the covers pulled up to his chest. He had a baseball cap on and held his phone above his face.

"Is something wrong?" Sapnap asked.

"Nope. I just wanted someone to talk to. George wasn't picking up."

"George?"

"Yes. George."

"Oh..." Sapnaps eyes began to well up with tears. A single, salty drop rolled down his cheek, past his jawline, and fell to his neck.

"I- I cant do this right now, Dream. I'm sorry." Sapnap quickly hung up.

This was bizarre. The 2 would usually talk for hours into the ungodly hours of the night. Why was Sapnap so sensitive all of a sudden? Why didn't he want to talk about George? Did him and George get in a disagreement? Why was he crying?

All of these questions clouded the dirty blonde's thoughts. He tried to call George again, but didn't receive a response.

He's probably sleeping or his phone died... Dream thought to himself. It was unusual, yes, but possible. He decided to text the brunette instead.

"George???"

An hour later, he received a response.

"hey! sorry! my wifi went out"

"I was just worried about you lol"

"can i come over?"

"Sure!

Dream set his phone down on his desk and stood up to take a shower. The hot florida weather wasn't helping his situation. With only one window open and crap ac, his house was extremely hot. He walked to the bathroom and turned the water in his shower on. He kept it cooler than usual. The dirty blonde began to undress and stepped beneath the running water. It felt refreshing against his hot skin.

When he was finished, Dream stepped out of the shower and wrapped his waist in a towel. He swiftly sprinted to his room to change. Patches was sitting on front of his open bedroom door, waiting for him.

"You have to move, Patches," he exclaimed to the cat. She stood up and stretched backwards. Dream steeped over the feline into his room.
