How It Started

Once I convinced my sister to leave my room and wait downstairs, I got out of bed. 

Walking to my bathroom, I took a short shower, put my hair into a messy bun and went back to my room to get dressed into my black Grad Hoodie, some grey jeans and Convers. After I grabbed my phone, I went downstairs. 

"ok, so let's eat at the mall so we don't waste time here trying to find something to eat" Kate stated, I wasn't about to say no to eating at the mall because I love the Taco Bell they have in the food court, for some strange reason it seems to taste better than the other Taco Bells.

 "K, but let's leave now because I'm starving." I grabbed the key off the front table and we left. Kate and I had been walking in comfortable silence for about 5 minutes when she asked me,

"How did you know you were bi?" I stopped dead in my tracks at this question not knowing how to respond.

"Well... I started to look at girls the same way I looked at boys, like the way you felt about James," she looked at me with a mixture of fear and excitement in her eyes

"um- I- I think I might be b-bi" she stuttered, I immediately picked her up and hugged her tight. Even though she is 14, she is still very small.

"OMG Kate, I'm so so proud of you." I was reacting the way I wished my parents would have reacted when I came out. I finally put her down, "now let's go get you a 'Coming Out Gift' to celebrate." 

Once we got to the mall we went to the food court, I got Taco Bell of course and Kate got sushi. We sat down at a table near the side, and next to the clear glass railing overlooking the main floor of the mall. I noticed a huge group of mostly teenage girls and boys surrounding something but I couldn't tell what or who it was. "What's that?" Kate asked pointing to the crowd,

"that's what I was thinking,  wanna go check it out?"

"Mhm," grabbing our stuff we went down the escalator to the main floor and walked over to the crowd. From here I could see who was at the center, it was a young girl with black hair with green roots, she was wearing baggy clothes and had lots of chains and rings. She was hands down the most beautiful girl I had ever laid eyes on, just then she seemed to look right at me and we locked eyes. It was BILLIE EILISH!

BILLIE POV

I was totally mobed by a group of people, which doesn't bother me I'm used to it by now when this girl walked over with another girl who looked like her sister.

The girl was hot af, she had Y/C skin and Y/E/C eyes with Y/H/S hair, we locked eyes and during that time it seemed like we were talking without even having to say anything. I smiled at her and she smiled back, god, she had the best smile ever.

After one big bear hug, I whispered to my head of security and they started ushering away all the fans, that girl and her sister walked to the corner away from all the people. I walked over, determined to get her number. "Hey," I said smoothly, she blushed and smiled,

"Hi, I just wanted to say that I love you and you saved my life, I have been trying to get up the courage to DM you on Insta but I couldn't bring myself to push the button," she rushed out getting flustered. I walked and hugged her, she melted into my arms and started to cry.

"It's ok, I'm here, I love you too baby girl" I whispered in her ear as she cried. It always makes me feel like I'm making a difference to people when things like this happen outside of M&G's. I also loved the way she didn't emindiatly pull out her phone to take a selfie with me, I think that shows that someone is a true fan.

After about 2 minutes and one more hug for both the girls, whose names were YN and Kate, I had to go to an interview. "It was awesome meeting you both... Umm YN, is there any chance that I can get your number?" 

"Oh, y-ya that, would be amazing," she looked like she was going to explode with excitement. It was so cute. After we exchanged numbers, we parted ways. I walked over to Finneas. I must have been blushing because he said, 

"well... who is she, because she is the first person to make 'the stoic Billie Eilish' blush like that in years?"

"Shut the fuck up" I laughed, shoving him jokingly "she's just a fan that I thought was cool so I asked for her number. We left the mall and got in the car but the whole time all I could think about was YN.
