Gojo x reader AU 1/3

Your POV:

Tears cascaded down my face as my lungs burned from my nonstop running. My body ached terribly but I couldn't stop to give myself a break. Not when there was a group of zombies chasing me. Fear and betrayal filled every vein in my body as I continued forcing myself forward.

'How could they just leave me? As bait for these monsters? I thought they cared about me. I thought HE cared!'

My body was begging for rest and I could feel my limbs burning from my attempt to escape these corpses chasing after me.

"Ack!" I tripped and my body went flying forward. My hands extended out on reflexes and I yelped as they, as well my knees, came in contact with the ground, getting scratched up in the process.

I turned to look behind me and my blood went cold as I realized they were nearing me. I counted 5 of them coming towards me.

I attempted to get up, but between my fever and my exhausted body, all I could manage was to crawl a few feet. My lungs burned and I gasped weakly for air. Everything felt as if it was on fire and I clenched my fists, ignoring the stings in my palms.

Bile raised in my throat as I took account of how the zombies looked like. Eyes white and dull, discolored flesh hanging of their faces, revealing their bones. Blood was smeared all over their clothes and dripping from their mouths that growled and snapped. I wanted nothing more than to shut my eyes but I couldn't.

"P-please someone help!" I managed to yell.

Fatigue hit my body hard and I could feel my body beginning to shut down. My already heavy limbs felt like bricks yet I still tried pushing myself backwards to put more distance between these freaks and I.

It proved itself useless as soon they were a couple feet away. A few last tears escaped my eyes as I realized this would be my end.

Let me at least pass out before they eat me.

I let my head drop, letting my tears drip down the side of my face to the ground. My breath was getting slower as I was getting sleepy.

"Look, I was right! There's someone there!" A voice could be heard.

I felt a spike of adrenaline shoot through me, enough for me to raise my arm and let out another strained 'help'.

My arm dropped and I flinched as I saw a zombie reach down at me. Suddenly, a gun shot echoed and it's body jerked to the side, falling down and the corpses turned their attention to the side. My eyes fluttered closed but I tried to still be awake. Their snarls could be heard along with grunts and gun shots that caused me to flinch at their sounds.

I felt a small sense of relief before I let myself fall asleep, letting my body finally rest.

Gojo's POV

"Look, I was right! There's someone there!" Yuuji exclaimed.

We turned our attention to where a woman laid on the ground a few zombies closing in on her. Her arm seemed to reach up a little, the tiniest 'help' could be heard.

"I'll take the one about to grab her. You guys get the rest," I commanded while taking out my gun.

We ran towards the herd of undead and I raised my gun, shooting the zombie straight in the head. It's body fell to the side. The remaining 4 turned their attention to us, their mouths snarling and snapping at us.

"You really are a bunch of ugly freaks," I chuckled to myself before shooting another one.

"Yuuji check if she's alive and not bitten," Nanami ordered as he shot a zombie as well.

"Take this you ugly f*ck!" Nobara yelled as she slammed her bat into a zombies head.

I smirked like a proud father as blood splattered out, the body falling to the ground. Megumi calmly bashes the last ones head, cringing at the amount of blood on his bat, swinging it to the side to get some off.

"You 3 take a look around, see if we attracted any more with noise. I know I'm sexy but I don't want zombies coming after me," I spoke, grinning cheekily.

Megumi groaned and Nobara gave me a look but turned to look around. Nanami sighed, mumbling something under his breath before doing so as well.

"So Yuuji, is she infected?" I asked while examining her features.

Her breathing was shallow and she had sweat dripping from her forehead. She looked a little pale despite so, she was beautiful.

"I checked her arms, legs and her neck but there's no bite marks. Plus if she was bitten wouldn't she be convulsing by now?" He asked while tilting his head at her.

"Hmmm let me check her eyes. Let's see if they're milky white," I replied.

I gently tilted her head, noticing the tears that stained her cheeks. I frowned a little at the sight but focused on gently opening her eye. To my surprise, they were (e/c).

"Doesn't seemed infected to me. It'd be a shame if she was. I wouldn't wanna kill such a gorgeous lady," I said.

"So she isn't infected?" Megumi asked.

"Quit hitting on a lady that isn't even awake," Nobara said.

"Nope," I replied, ignoring Nobara's comment.

"No zombies and are we taking her with us?" Nobara came up next to me.

"Yep," I replied while picking her up.

I was shocked to realize how thin she was. (To be clear, it's because the reader had a bad fever and was barely able to eat.) I fixed her in my arms, smiling a little as her head tilted on my chest.

"Are you completely sure she's not infected?" Nanami asked.

"Well I would be pushing her off me at the moment to keep her from eating me if she was," I answered.

"Well I'm glad we'll be having another girl," Nobara commented.

"Well let's get going!" I exclaimed.

"You know Gojo sensei, you're right, she is really pretty," Yuuji said as he walked next to me.

"She also looks too old for you," I replied with a smirk.

"Well it doesn't matter. My only true love is Jennifer Lawrence," He replied with little sparkles in his eyes.

"She's most likely dead you idiot," Nobara replied.

"Eh!? Why would you say that!?" Yuuji whined.

I muffled a laugh while Nanami sighed.

"Nobara leave him alone," Megumi said.

"Thank you Fushi-"

"Or else he'll cry about it all night."

"HEY!" Yuuji exclaimed with betrayal.

I let out a laugh and Yuuji looked at me with betrayal as well.

"Sorry Yuuji, but Megumi was funny for once," I said, shooting the boy a grin.

He simply rolled his eyes and I chuckled. I looked down at the woman, wondering how prettier she looked when she was awake.

Guess we'll find out eventually.
