In our life time : there are some sad events.
Too much detail. Too much content.
There are deaths, wars, illnesses, heartbreak...
But I guess, life is what you make.
Life can be pretty brutal but you know what there is?
Something we had ,once, as kids.
Hope, determination, support...
Nothing too sad, nothing to report.
There is so much around us.
No need for violence, no need to cuss.
We have to let the happiness swallow us.
Take note; this is a must.
Seep into our arrogant brains.
Stop throwing our selves in front of trains.
Stop letting blood go down the drains.
Think of everything that we could gain.
We need to allow the little things in life,
to cradle us.
Take note; this is a must.
Until, we can walk on our own. Once more.
Open our hearts, open our core.
We live in a life, full of nostalgia and fear.
I'm sorry but this is the truth, my dear.
We live in a life, where enthusiasm is weird.
Something I had always feared.
A world where trust is lost and hatred thrives.
We live in a life where all hope comes to die.
Hopefully ,one day, we can come to our senses.
Put down our weapons. Break down our defenses.
One day, we will see;
What this world, really, could be.
This world has so much potential.
So I hope, this poem is ,somewhat, influential.
This poem is a little starter.
