On The Bridge Of Death

August and I have been doing well the last few weeks.Ever since our secrets have spilled out,we've been okay.

Right now I'm waiting for August to come home from his "job."

He left late at night and something about this doesn't sit right with me.

* 3 hrs later*

It was about 7:00,and August wasn't back.I called him.

He didn't answer and it went to voicemail.Oh Shit.

I put on some shoes and thought about where his trap house would be.

I went where my dads use to be. I grabbed my 9mm gun out of my  hidden compartment in my car.

I walked out where people were walking around outside like zombies.

A drunk man came up to me,"Hey lil mama,"he slurred.

"I got heat son you might not wanna try me,"I shot back harshly.

"Or what?"He said like I didnt say I got a gun.

"You gone have to go through me,"August said,standing behind me.

The man threw his hands up and walked over to another lady,that was also zombified.

 
"What you doing here?"he questioned.

"Ain't know where you was,"I said.

"This ain't no place fa' a lady,who ain't got no protection.

"Shut the hell up,nigga I'm packing."

"Really?"

Suddenly ,  man called August name.

"Aye,Yung,I finally got you alone,"some nigga said.

"Don't start no trouble,Killa,"

"You know I'm all fa dat,"

"Whatever,"Aug replied.

"Whatever to this,nigga!"he pulled out a gun and started shooting.

It happened so quick.

People ran out the warehouse some girls ran out butt naked,guys with guns,more drunks and druggies.

People began shooting up some more.

August fell to the ground.

"Oh my god!"

He had a bullet wound in his stomach.

I pulled out my phone and hauled him to my car.I didnt want to call the EMS here cause I didn't want them to get caught at the trap house.

"Hold on baby,hold on,"I cried.

He groaned.

I pulled up to the nearest neighborhood and called the EMS.

They came and took him,I went in with him.
