Chapter 7: The L/n's estate

Georgie's P.O.V

We arrived at y/n's front porch and i have to say, her house looks just as lovely as the one living in it. Georgie what the frickle frackle?

I knocked on the door with dream girl by my side when i heard some thuds from the inside.(that rhymed, goddamit) I was then greeted by two tiny, grinnin' faces. Well this is awkward.

Y/n heard the door open and immideatly scooped the little toddlers in her arms. Damn, she's one hell of a girl. I saw someone come around the corner of the parlor. It's her brother. Holy shit.

"Hey broski! This is Georgie, by friend from school, you guys should get to know each other sometime." GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER SOMETIME?! WHAT THE FUCK?? "I find that unlikely, n/n." Oh fuck. "I have alot of work to tend to, taxes and shit. Would want to though." Oh thank God. He walked away from us, going into his room, i guess. I look over at y/n who just shrugged it off, the two toddlers still in her arms.

"Who's this guy, y/n?"

"Is he your boooooyyyfrieeeennnddd??" these kids know damn well what i wanna be. But Jesus, how do they know all this shit? I ask myself as i turn into a rose from meemaw's garden.

"Alright, you two, off you pop." Y/n casually said, like nothing ever fucking happened.

"If you don't mind me askin', how in the world do they know what boyfriends are?"

"Oh! Pft, they hang out with my older sister alot, she watches a hell ton of romcoms." She said while moving around the kitchen. That reminds me of something. I rushed to the fridge and i saw it, 'yeet lil sis- y/n'. I chuckled, damn she's adorable. Then i heard a thud.

"Georgie!"

"Yeah?"

"Could you, uh, come help me real quick?"

"Comin'!"

I ran over to the room she was in [which was in the 2nd floor, might i add] and saw a fuck ton of circuits and wires all over the floor. "I obviously fell." "I can see that, what were you trying to do anyway?"

"I was trying to get something important" She pointed at the shelf that, not to brag or anything,i can reach it.

"Alright sweet heart, which one?" Holy fuck.

Y/n's P.O.V

"Alright sweetheart, which one?" Uhhhhhhhh. What????? I don't know if you know Georgie, but i'm head over heals for you and i already fell. (literally and figuratively) I want to scream, so loud, the glass shakes with me. I'm currently in the process of turning my human body into a tomato. "T-that box just there."

"There you go darlin" oh for fucks sake. "Thanks Georgie".

A long time ago, in a world i can no longer be in, my mother and i would make little trinkets and letters to future people. She made letters for my younger siblings, my father, my supposed "child", i wrote letters to my future bestfriend, (and of course my younger siblings) My mom told me to give it to this future person, just so that i could share a part of me that i never showed anyone, trust, she says, a sign of trust. If i show this to someone, i am telling them of my past, and that i am now allowing them to read it through the papers. She told me to give it to someone special, and so i did, i gave it to Georgie.

Georgie's P.O.V

She handed me a letter from the box, it looked kinda old, but it still looked okay. It had, i think her hamdwriting in cursive? I looked at her and she nodded, waiting for me to open it. I read it.

July 24th, 1985

Dear future friend, whomever you might be.,

This is younger y/n, calling upon you to let you know ypu have made my life worth while. I've been lonely and well, i'm not doing very good. But you dear person, have cpme to my life and fought the wickedness of it, i thank you. I'm getting off my high horse for a moent and ask you why i became your friend. Nonetheless, thank you so much for staying by my side, even if it wasn't for a long time. Thank you for choosing me as someone you would talk to. I promise to love you, forever and always. Whatever, whomever you are, it won't make a difference. My love will still be present, and it will flow all the time. My side will no longer be empty. Love you very much.

Damn, i don't know what to say i-

"Georgie, are you okay?"

"Yeah i'm fine.."

"Are you sure?"

I hugged her. I finally did, she stiffened, but she hugged back. The world started to melt around us, never felt like this before, i'm lookin' forward to feelin' it again.
