Avery's P.O.V.
"Harry put me down!" i giggled as he held me over his broad shoulder and spun me around.
"If you insist," he shrugged, plopping me down in a pile of sand in a sand box. Harry had taken me to a quiet playground by my old house. I used to go there everyday with my father when i was a little girl. I absolutely loved it here. It was one of my favorite places in the whole world and Harry was the only one that knew that. I willingly shared my sacred place with him now and whenever i was upset, he'd tell me to get in the car and we'd just drive until we got here.
I laid back and Harry settled himself over me, supporting himself up by propping his elbows up on either side of me. His necklaces dangled down from his neck and i watched them skim my chest. I felt his eyes gazing down on my face and i blinked up at him and smiled.
"Thank you for taking me here today," i thanked him softly, staring up into his sea green eyes. I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck. i grabbed a small fistful of his curls lightly in one hand and brought his mouth down to mine. "Happy anniversary," i smiled before clashing our lips together.
When he pulled away his eyes were sincere and gentle. He grazed his thumb against my cheek softly and i twirled his curls in my fingers. "When was the last time you talked to your brother?"
I cleared my throat and looked away from Harry's face over to the creaky swings blowing in the cool autumn air. "Do we have to talk about this?"
Harry nodded, sitting up next to me. "I think it's important."
I sat up next to him, but kept my eyes locked on the sand we were sitting in. I dug my fingers into the moist grains and remained quiet. I hated talking about Joshua. A slow tear dripped down my cheek and Harry's supportive arm wrapped around my shoulder and i leaned into him easily.
"I don't want to make you upset baby," Harry assured me, rubbing soothing circles into my back, but i still didn't respond. He sighed, "look at me," he whispered, but i didn't, "baby look at me," he brought my teary face to look up at him, "You are my everything, my whole world. And one day, i hope to make you a part of my family. But i want to know the rest of my family that comes with you. It would mean a lot to me if i could meet him."
"Well you're not going to meet him and i promise you," i stood up, angered by the memory of Joshua, "You're not missing much." I wiped sand of my bum and off my hands and began walking back to Harry's Range Rover which we had picked up from his house before coming here.
"Avery," he called after me and i heard his footsteps as he quickly caught up. He ran his hand around my waist and turned me back to him in one easy swift movement. He held me in place there and forced me to relax. "I'm sorry, i'm sorry," he apologized, "I wont talk about him again tonight. Today is about us. I'm sorry."
I sighed and gave him, "You're right, i should be more open to talking about him with you. It's just-" i huffed, "it's just a tough subject for me."
"I know," he murmured pressing his forehead against mine and closed his eyes. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes as well. "I love you so much."
"I love you too," i choked out, "and about Joshua-"
"No," he cut me off, pulling away, "enough about that for now. We have to go shopping."
"What shopping?" i questioned, "Harry, you know i hate shopping."
He smiled widely, "last one in the car is a pile of rubbish!" He tickled me quickly and took off to the driver's side of the vehicle. I laughed and chased after him.

"Are you kidding?" she snapped at me, jaw dropped, gazing out the window. I put the car in park and unbuckled my seat belt. "Harry, what on earth do i need an expensive dress for?"
