We skyped almost every night, and within the first month, he was asking me to come visit him. He was quite needy and persistent, so I finally agreed. The next day, I was at the airport, waiting for my flight. I was on the phone with my mom, who was being very… well… mom-ish.

                “Olivia, how long have you known this man?” she questioned, suspicious.

                “Um, a little over a month…” I said, rubbing the back of my neck. She was not happy.

“And you’re already buying plane tickets to go see him? Oh lord, I thought I raised a respectable daughter!” She scolded.

                “Mom! I’m not a prostitute! I’m just going to visit a friend, that’s all! It’s not like we’re going to have sex! Besides, mother, I am 24, so I think I can take care of myself.” I told her.

                “Oh, alright honey. I just want you to be safe!” I sighed and told her I would be fine, hanging up quickly as possible. I boarded the plane, nervous. I hated flying more than anything in the world. I stuck my head in between my knees and hoped it would be over soon.

                I woke with a start. “Ma’am, we’ve landed. It’s time to get off the plane now.” I looked up groggily into the face of a very happy looking flight attendant. I glanced around and realized I was the last person on the plane. I smiled sheepishly and stood up, hitting my head on the overhead bin. I grimaced and shuffled into the isle. I exited the plane swiftly, apologizing to the flight attendants who waited for me to wake up.

                As soon as I stepped into the terminal, I was attacked with a hug.

                “OLIVIA!” Eddie yelled into my ear. I laughed and hugged him back.

                “Hey, Eddie.” I said, and pulled back to look at him. He had his Pikachu hat on, his black framed glasses (Of course. He can barely see without them) and a simple grey sweatshirt on over his purple hipo shirt. I poked the hipo and he laughed pulling me back into the hug. Someone cleared their throat and Eddie flinched, turning around.

                “OH SHIT!” Eddie yelled, and I smacked him. Little kids were in here! “I forgot about you,” he said, jabbing his finger into someone’s chest. I glanced around him to see who it was. “Olivia, Meet-”

                “HOLY SHIT YOU’RE IMMOTALHD!” I screamed, hugging him.

                “Well, no need for introductions then!” Eddie giggled, and hugged me from behind. “HUG SANDWICH!” he yelled. An airport security guard walked over and told us to quiet down. We laughed but walked towards baggage claim.

                After we grabbed my luggage, we walked to Eddie’s car and I climbed in the back, letting Aleks a.k.a. ImmortalHD, sit up front. But instead he sat in back with me, and Eddie started pouting.

                “Hey. I’m all lonely up here,” he said, turning around to frown at us. I laughed and pulled his hat off his head, pulling it on my own.  “Don’t worry. We’ll talk lots so you don’t feel lonely.” I assured him. He started the ignition and pulled out of the parking lot.

                “So, Aleks. I have to ask you something that me and all my gamer friends really need to know.” I said seriously, turning towards him.
