The Apology

(Athena's POV)

  I walked into the throne room and asked "Hera, Aphrodite, Artemis may I talk to you three please?"

  "Yes dear?"Hera said when we got outside.

  "I need your opinions" I said "what do you think of Percy and Annabeth?"

  "As in" asked Artemis.

  "Their engagement" I replied.

  "I think it is perfect, they love each other very much" Aphrodite answered.

  "Did you use your magic on them?" I questioned her.

  "No, I swear on the river of Styx they did it on their own" she promised.

  "Personally I don't like men, but Annabeth is happy so I support them 100%. Plus, if he hurts her I will personally lead my hunters to hunt him down and make him pay." Answered Artemis.

  "That is reassuring. Hera what do you think? I said a little relieved.

  "I agree with Athena" Hera said flatly.

  "In all due respect your just saying that because you don't like them" Artemis said.

  "Athena, go talk to Annabeth about this" Aphrodite told me.

  "Ok but she probably will just run away again" I remarked.

  "Follow her then" Artemis said.

  After that I went to Annabeth house and knocked on the door.  When Percy opened the door I almost walked away but caught myself.

  "Annabeth is in the living room" he said as he stepped aside and let me in.

  "I didn't come here just for Annabeth I need to talk to you to" I said as I walked to the living room.

  "Mom" Annabeth said sounding shocked "what are you doing here?"

  "I've come to talk to you and Percy" I replied "I'm never going to agree with Posiden, but I've talked it over and come to realize it isn't up to me. As long as you happy I'm fine with it. I don't like it but I come to accept it."

  "Mom I love you, and I'm so sorry for anything I said on Olympus" she replied with a hug.

  "Plus if this doesn't work out the hunters are going to get him and make him pay" I whispered in her ear.

  "Mom, that's not going to happen, it'll work out I promise"she replied.

  "What's not going to happen?" Percy asked confused.

  "Don't worry about it, seaweed brain" Annabeth said between giggles.

  "Seaweed brain I like it"I said to Annabeth "I might need to use that on Posiden. I best be of good bye."
