Chapter 14

Wanda had been nervously waiting in the waiting room in the hospital with steve and Tony taking turns sitting with her. She waited for a week.

Then one Wednesday evening a nurse said she could see Natasha. Wanda felt so upset she felt sick, the nurse started to cry. 'We have lost her' the nurse said. Wanda absolutely lost it she collapsed to the floor and just passed out. 

Wanda woke up in her room, 'hey, it's ok.' Steve said. 'No it's not, Steve my wife is dead.' Wanda said crying. 'Tidy up you two there's a secret shield meeting.' Tony said.

 'You know Wanda it's lucky you passed out otherwise you might have been in danger.' Steve said as he and Wanda where walking into a meeting room. 'I think you mean everyone else might have been in danger.' Wanda said softly. 'Ok everyone, to those of you who didn't already know, I'm alive.' Nick fury said. 'What's the big buzz?' Tony asked sarcastically. 'Well today you and your fellow avengers encountered what we believe to be the biggest threat of our time, super soldiers, on the dark side.' Fury said. 'And what about agent romanoff?' Wanda asked. 'Oh mrs maximoff, you have a lot to learn about shield.' Fury responded. 

Nick fury led everyone too a secret room in the medical area in the shield base, it led down to a smaller medical area. And there she was, Natasha romanoff alive and well sitting on a hospital bed with not a single wire attatched to her. 'Oh my god' Wanda screamed, as she ran and jumped on the bed and gave Natasha a tight hug, 'what the hell' wanda said sobbing. 'I think shield is the worlds best organisation for faking your own death.' Natasha said looking at fury. 'I'm not even gonna ask how the hell you pulled that off.' Steve said. 'Nurse says I'm good to go just I'll need to take it easy for a while especially since the world thinks I'm dead.' Natasha said rolling out of the bed. 

'One question I will ask is, where in hell is my best friend and Sam Wilson?' Natasha asked as Wanda was helping her out onto a Quinn jet. 'M.I.A' Steve just responded. 'Maybe it's a good time for that honeymoon?' Wanda asked, 'that's fine with me.' Natasha said. After all it would be a great opportunity to find a new way of life. 

'Nuh uh Natasha where do you think your going?' Steve asked. 'Um sorry mate me and my wife here are just gonna go on our honey moon to Greece thank you very much' Natasha responded. 'Uh I don't think so, your best friend and my best friend are missing and you just want to leave it? They could be dead somewhere!' Steve said, 'oh fine Rogers have it your way but when this is over, our honeymoon is going to be twice as long.' Natasha said. Wanda just turned around threw her sun hat in her bag, grabbed Natasha's arm and headed back to her room.

'Ok I should be able to use the bypass trigger in sam's wings to locate them.' Natasha said sat down with a laptop. 'Isn't that just a tracker?' Wanda said lying on her bed staring at the ceiling. 'No Wanda it's a signal override device that can also function as a device that sends me a signal telling me where they are.' Natasha said. 'Ugh of course Natasha' she said rolling off the bed and just lying face down on the floor. 'Ok, I've got a signal.' Natasha said, 'great where are they then?' Wanda asked. 'Right at this red dot.' Natasha said, 'no address?' Wanda said. 'Yes sadly these bad guys base isn't on the map.'

Natasha, Wanda and Steve arrived at the area on the map, it was a crusty old warehouse awful similar to the other one, they saw to guards coming so hid. When it was safe to move they realised the men where on a break of some kind. They snuck in through a narrow tunnel at the back of the building, the tunnel lead to a room with three doors. All where locked, this of course was not a problem for a master spy even if her main role was hacking for now. The first door once unlocked fell down into a deep hole as soon as it was pushed open, the second opened to a empty white room and the last one was a room where Clint and Sam where unconscious and tied to chairs luckily enough. Wanda tried waking them up while Natasha and Steve tried cutting the ropes. The two made short work of the ropes but it took a while for the two men to come too. 'Woah where are we guys.' Clint said trying to stand, but his legs where still numb and asleep. Sam woke up soon after 'hey guys bout time I was starting to grow wings over here.' Sam said, 'oh looks who's making bird jokes now' Steve said. Natasha, Wanda and Steve helped them out and to the Quinn jet. They got out of there quicker than you could say penguin.
