The pathways of the shopping district were bustling as ever. Multiple people talking to one shopkeeper to get food or other luxurious items, horses pulling wagons of people or supplies, theives who sat in the darkness, ready to take anything that glints their intrest, and the ganglords and their minions patroling their turf of the market. That was a normal day in the streets, a day Rui loved.

He and his two friends scouted about the shops, looking for food to snag and run. Linx, also known as Kat, was thumbing over to a cart with fresh fruits and vegetables. Blinx, another name for Jalkar to go by, headed towards the cart. Linx also headed over towards the cart and started to make due conversation with the shopkeep. As she was doing so, Blinx stole three apples, three peaches, six plums, and six carrots. Linx saw Blinx stand up and move away from the cart with a thumbs up. Linx closed the conversation and left. As the three got together, back in their HQ, they split the food.

For all the times Rui has been in the HQ he could never forget how dust kept collecting along the wooden beams. How the dust always fell and acted up with his sinuses. He had a love hate relationship with the worn down warehouse. It was his home, his HQ, his own space. He sighed before he took a bite of the apple in his hand.

"Today is a good day." Rui said with a huge smile.

"Damn right it is, boss. Better than we could've ever hoped!"
